With 200+ mods, this is a relatively large modpack. However, by featuring mostly tech and magic mods, I was able to reduce lag and make it much less demanding then your average modpack.

Thermal Expansion, IC2, Buildcraft, Mekanism, Environmental Tech, and Draconic Evolution are all included to provide a fun experience messing around with machinery and pipes. Since there are no Big Reactors, it is much more challenging to produce energy to power your base.
Blood Magic allows you to build massive altars where you can perform rituals, and Thaumcraft allows you to explore wands and magic within the world.
