Hello and welcome to my modpack! I recommend reading this description if this is your first time playing with any of these mods. The Epic Siege, Cold Sweat, Mana & Artifice.
This pack was inspired by "Fear Nightfall" and I recommend checking it out if you want more challenge ;)
The Epic Siege mod, every night mobs will do their best to get to you and kill you. Zombies will pillar up, or mine to you, place tnt and blow you and everything around themselves up. Skeleton's will snipe at you from long distances with slowing arrows, even burning themselves to shoot fire arrows at you. Creepers will detonate at will, often doing the same as zombies and causing fires when they explode.
(There's also a JOHN CENA creeper, beware. You'll know em when you hear em.)
In addition to this there's also new hostile mobs from Royal Variations, and Skarrier Mobs which add things like the dragger and breacher, Alex's mobs and Alex's Caves which add so many new passive, neutral, and hostile mobs it's too long to list here.
^TLDR^ - There's a lot of mobs in this pack who wish for you to be dead. Moving on!
Cold Sweat is a temperature mod! Sew different materials into your armor with a tailoring station, and make fires, boilers, hearths, ice boxes, and whatever else you can think to stave off tempatures. This mod is also compatible with Burnt which overhauls vanilla fire and smoke, in addition to that there's also Dynamic Trees and Immersive Weathering with their relevant compatibility mods.
For casters we have Mana & Artifice and it's addon MagiChem (<-- which I have yet to use). Very in depth magic mod with it's ingame codex! Any description I give cannot do it justice, I can only tell you it's the official spiritual successor to ars magic 2. (Also there's an API issue with the two at the moment causing tier levels to show incorrectly, you should get an ingame messaging explaining more if it's still an issue when you play.)
For the builders! There's many options to defend yourself effectively and aesthetically, this pack includes a large majority of Macaw's additions, and Villager Guards + Regrowth to give villagers some lifeline.
Lastly, this pack uses the GraveStone Mod to prevent mass loot loss on death, and Tetra with it's Art of Forging addon to give the player a fighting chance early game, and tools usable throughout the playthrough.
If the hordes ever break through, opening Dimensional Doors is a possibly less tragic fate.
