ThaumicRotation is a mod pack centered around Thaumcraft and RotaryCraft.

By using less well known and less simple options for automation and processing players are challenged to use new solutions to automate their machines and bases. Encouraging new builds, new designs, and the learning of new mods.

Unlike most packs which focus on providing challenge through tougher mobs or more expensive recipes to control and force a stricter progression, this pack provides its challenge through its limited selection of mods to limit your options, requiring players to use their creativity and ingenuity to learn and use mods they may not be used to, and features of those they are used to that they may not be familiar with to engineer solutions to their problems.

Some design philosophies are:

RotaryCraft based power gen being the only option, this means anything that uses RF requires generating RotaryCraft power first, then running it into your RF devices, which are limited on purpose to prevent this from being too annoying.
Golems are to be the core of the intelligent automation options.
Variety and options for those who want them, without taking away from the heavy focus on RotaryCraft and Thaumcraft.
Mods are chosen to encourage the sense of engineering your devices.
Item transport options outside of Thaumcraft chosen to be deliberately inferior and "dumb" unless they feed into the idea of having to engineer solutions.

Some recipes may be altered for balance reasons, to help document these, they will be listed in game for the RotaryCraft suite and in changelog for literally everything else.

Understanding the versioning system:

X.Y.Z

X = Major Version, so long as this matches the pack will be compatible with all previous version, should this increase however a world wipe will be needed.

Y = Significant update, this applies to any update that changes the modpacks dynamic through additional mods or removal of mods.

Z = Minor Update, these will include the minor mod additions as well as updating of mods.

Za = If a letter is applied after Z then the update was made to fix some particularly nasty bugs or crashes, it will otherwise function like a standard Z update, but such an update should always be taken immediately upon release.
