Thaumic Revelations is a 1.12.2 modpack based on the recently released Thaumcraft 6, and includes many other magical mods (such as Roots and Abyssalcraft). Also included are exploration mods such as Twilight Forest, to put your magical gadgets to good use against harder foes. ToroQuest also provides revamped villages and a reputation system for a more immersive experience. This pack is wholly focused on magic, with no tech mods included.
