Thaumcraft is an amazing mod created by Azanor that has quickly become a staple for many of the biggest modpacks for Minecraft. Unlike most, though, this modpack aims to give a complete Thaumcraft experience, without the addition of any unrelated mods that may take away from the experience. No Buildcraft, no Thermal, no Botania, etc. Some mods were added outside of Thaumcraft and it's many addons simply for aesthetics or because the mod author was kind enough to add some compatible features. Misc Mods
- Antique Atlas: A great alternative to JourneyMap with many of the basic functionalities, such as waypoints, death markers, etc.
- Antique Atlas Overlay - Minimap: Adds a minimap on your screen as long as you have your atlas in your hotbar.
- Applecore: Because everyone likes seeing food stats.
- Better Storage: Everything in this mod except backpacks and chests has been disabled. Both of these have a Thaumium variant that can be infused crafted. Recipes are very expensive and do not have tiered types like Iron Chests mod. Thought this was a good balance.
- Better FPS: To squeeze a few more FPS from the game.
- Bibliocraft: Some great functional and non functional stuff. Also compatible with Thaumcraft things like Jars.
- Carpenter's Blocks: For some decorative fun.
- ChickenChunks: For chunk loading.
- Chisel: Some great variants of Thaumcraft blocks.
- DecoCraft2: Again, some decorative stuff.
- DrCyano's Lottable Bodies: Great alternative to graves, while adding an interesting aesthetic to death. Compatible with Better Storage backpack death drops.
- Extra Utilities: Honestly, put this one in only for the "locate item" functionality of pressing T. Everything in the mod is disabled except for trash cans.
- FastCraft: Better performance.
- FastLeafDecay: A staple. Doesn't work on Thaumcraft trees. You'll need a Thaumcraft axe for that.
- Inventory Tweaks: Pretty self explanatory.
- Morpheus: For server play.
- Mouse Tweaks: Again, self explanatory.
- NEI Addons; NEI Integration: Added NEI Functionality.
- NotEnoughItems: Because looking for recipes online is stupid.
- NotEnoughKeys: To look for those pesky keybinding conflicts fast.
- NotEnoughResources: Because, yeah.
- Schematica: Import and export schematics. Makes building so much easier.
- StartingInventory: Configured to start player with an Antique Atlas and some food at the beginning. You're welcome.
- Storage Drawers: Nifty storage solution that is compatible with golems.
- Storage Drawers: Misc Pack: Adds compatibility for Thaumcraft wood.
- Waila, Waila Harvestability, Waila Plugins, Wawla: Because everyone wants to know what they're looking at.
