Thaumcraft Optimized

A Thaumcraft 4 focused Minecraft 1.7.10 modpack

Thaumcraft Optimized is a personal modpack project built around one goal: creating a Minecraft 1.7.10 experience where Thaumcraft 4 is the main focus.

This pack started as something I made for fun because I wanted a more focused Thaumcraft experience without the overwhelming amount of unrelated mods often found in larger kitchen sink packs.

This is still an early work in progress. The pack is actively being tested, adjusted, and improved as I continue working on balance, progression, and mod choices. It is not intended to be a perfect or fully polished experience yet it’s a project I’m sharing while it grows.

The main progression revolves around Thaumcraft 4, with additional mods chosen to expand and support the magical side of the game.

Performance & Quality of Life

Since Minecraft 1.7.10 can struggle with larger modpacks, I have included performance improvements and quality-of-life mods to help create a smoother experience while keeping the classic modded Minecraft feel.

Current Development

The pack is still being worked on, with future changes focused around:

• Improving balance and progression
• Adjusting mod interactions
• Adding or removing mods where needed
• Further performance improvements
• Making Thaumcraft remain the centre of the experience
