TFC: Story Mode is a server project based on the mod "TerraFirmaCraft" to provide its players with a story to be part of.

 


Individual players as well as groups will occasionally face unobtrusive events that tie into what they’re already doing, or push the overarching narrative in a certain direction. What events there are and where the story goes depends entirely on what the players do within the server and in response to the events. Players can even ignore them entirely, but the rewards they give make that an unappealing choice.

Resources are limited in the wild but will never run out: because in certain places around the map are immortal villagers that trade food for a specific resource. Food production determines one’s economic capability! Farming is an honourable job indeed.

It's not a roleplay server, but if you play a character you're likely to receive events related to your character. The more noteworthy you are, the more good things will happen to you. And conversely, if a player isn’t very socially active, they're not likely to get many personal events. That’s a double-edged sword, but it’s still fine to play that way.

The world will be forever changing, but the gameplay stays the same. Underneath the narrative and chronic tomfoolery is a pretty standard game of TFC.
