TFC - Simply Fantastic (TFCSF)

TFC Simply Fantastic is a lightweight modpack built for those who want the authentic TerraFirmaCraft experience without unnecessary additions. It preserves the core mechanics, progression, and challenge of base TFC, offering a pure survival experience for seasoned players and purists alike. This pack avoids quest systems, tutorials, or progression guides, allowing players to explore, learn, and survive entirely on their own terms.

This modpack is also meant as a "modular modpack" meaning you are 100% permitted to use this as your base for a TFC modpack, changing whatever you want, BUT, I request that you give credit to this modpack if you do this. 

The only additions are subtle yet impactful: performance optimizations and carefully chosen quality-of-life enhancements that improve stability, loading times, and user experience without changing the gameplay balance. Everything added serves a single purpose—to make TFC run better and feel smoother, while leaving the gameplay untouched. If you're looking for a no-nonsense, respectful take on TerraFirmaCraft, "TFC Simply Fantastic" delivers exactly that: nothing more, nothing less.

Some mods are added, like Firmacraft, Blazemap, TFC Water Flasks, Backpacks, Player Shops, Firma: Civilization, and a few others, only to enhance the core mechanics that TFC has, for a server or quality perspective. Having more boats, inventory spaces, a map and access to better drinking equipment falls under improvement rather than replacement.

Q: What is this pack?
A: This pack is a modpack aimed at introducing new players to TFC, as well as meant as a modular modpack, you can freely add and remove mods in this, to create YOUR experience the way you want it. Meaning you are free to use this, modify it, play with it, add and remove stuff, use it for servers, singleplayer or lan worlds. All that is asked is that you credit this modpack as the base from where you built your own.

Q: How do I make a serverpack for my version?
A: You can make a serverpack by doing these simple steps.
Make a folder on your desktop named serverpack, move the KubeJS, Config, DefaultConfig and Mods folders over to it. Then remove these mods: Blazemap, Cartography, Embeddium, Oculus, Sodiumdynamiclights, Sodiumoptionsapi
Upload to your server host.
There might be other mods, but those you HAVE to remove on the serverpack.
