Terrific Terror

Terrific Terror is a survival horror modpack focused on progression, exploration and paranoia.
The modpack features horror entities such as The Man From The Fog, The Knocker, The Obelisk and From The Fog (Herobrine), Making survival much scarier.

Some of the horror modpacks focus only on jumpscares, But Terrific Terror also focuses on progression, survival and exploration, while keeping performance for people with a low-end pc.

The modpack also includes quality of life and performance mods such as:

• Embeddium

• Canary

• ModernFix

• Tree Harverster / Veinminer

• And more.

Terrific Terror uses FTB Quests to guide them on the world.
The quest system is divided into 4 paths, assisting beginners learn parts of Minecraft naturally while progressing through the modpack.

Current Chapter 1 paths include:

• Farming

• Mining

• Exploration

• House Defense

The player must complete all paths before moving into the Nether progression(Chapter 2).

The quests are designed to:

• teach beginners a little;

• make them explore;

• reward them while progressing;

• upgrade survival preparation.

The modpack also features heavily on atmosphere through:

• True Darkness mod;

• Ambient sounds;

• moon events;

• horror encounters;

• tension.

Some encounters are not scripted, sometimes they just happen, making each world feel different.

Terrific Terror includes features focused on immersion and survival horror:

• Lunar moon events;

• darker nights;

• Realistic sounds and footsteps;

• exploration-focused gameplay;

• preparing for survival;

• custom menus and loading screens(No loading yet).

The modpack is intended to make players feel:

• a constant ‘what was that?’ feeling;

• unsafe at night;

• rewards for completing quests.

Shelter,light and food. all become important parts of survival.

Current featured music includes:

Yes, absolutely.

Terrific Terror was mainly designed for potato PCs, focusing on gameplay and quality rather than extremely detailed ones.

You can still add:

• shaders;

• extra mods;

• resource packs;

if your PC can handle them.

Terrific Terror also has some funny moments and meme elements, including:

• Kasane Teto;

• Looping The Rooms Miku;

• random funny messages and tips.

The modpack mixes fear and meme humor instead of taking itself seriously all the time.
