- Several visual and frame optimization mods assist the smoothness of gameplay, including Lithium, Indium, Krypton, Sodium, Iris Shaders, and Phosphor.
- Combat is reworked with Better Combat, and the player's arsenal is significantly expanded with Medieval Weapons and several other equipment mods.
- Plasmo Voice proximity chat to allows for player in-game communication, and persistent chat logs allow for better conversation continuity.
- The world generation is overhauled with Terralith and Oh The Biomes You'll Go!, with Nature's Compass to make locating specific biomes easier.
- Many new dungeons and structures pepper the landscape ripe with unique items to plunder, Lootr even allows multiple players to scavenge the same ruins.
