As always, remember to make a backup of your world so you can revert to the previous version if needed (since modern modding will randomly corrupt your world due to datapack errors for no damn reason)
Decided by the Discord poll, I'm porting the pack to 1.19.2 (can't do 1.20.1 since Tinker's hasn't been ported yet and i don't wanna make the pack without it), so this will be the final update for the 1.18 version (until I inevitably find major issues lol).
As per usual, it started as a small patch and evolved into a big update lol
Main changes
Added my Stoneborn: Missing Mods texture pack
- This took me far too long to make, but it's the only Stoneborn add-on for the all the mods it adds support for (that I could find, at least)
Added my Extra Data Models datapack (and the Trivia Pack)
Imported my Melting Recipes Compatability datapack
- I originally made it for this pack, but figured I could publish it (kinda like what happened when I first made Extra Data Models lol)
- Due to this, I was finally managed to make Chains cheaper (like I always wanted to)
Added three custom machines:
- Coinifier: Holds the coinification recipes I had, making them easier to manage and less spammy for regular processing machinery
- Arc Furnace: Replaces my Induction Smelter recipes for scrappable items. Gives you double the output (in terms of nuggets - so 6 nuggets instead of 1 small scrap) for 50% more RF.
- Shredder: Replaces my recycling recipes (including Scrap). Also added several new ones based on my new recycling system. -- The only exception is Candles
Overhauled my scrap system
- Added Emerald scrap
- Added Steeleaf scrap
- Tiny Iron and Gold no longer have the nugget tag
- Tag is now
scrappable/typeinstead ofmeltable_type(e.g.scrappable/copperinstead ofmeltable_copper). Furnace recipes have also been removed in favour of Shredder recipes. This is my new standard for the system, and I'll update all the modpacks that use it soon™ - Most items now have a scrap tag, but I excluded a few due to the new progression order being custom machines -> smeltery (that way you're encouraged to use it as a metal recycler)
Imported my ore smelting fixer script from Hi-Tech Revolution
- Also removed my blasting recipes for raw ore blocks
Added a few loading screen tips
Changed all the messages occasionally printed in chat from quest rewards to dark purple text
New worlds now start with an Eccentric Tome that has the default guidebooks inside of it (instead of having them all be in separate slots)
Fixed the gap between pause menu buttons
Tweaked the menu designs
- Changed the wiki link
- Made sure the Discord button actually links to Discord
Changed the namespace of my custom tags to quintessence
Changed the model & texture for the Artificial Dragon Egg
- It's now a block instead of an item
Migrated some of the CraftTweaker scripts to twilightforest
- Mostly a backend change, but it might make the game load a bit faster
Bugfixes
Re-enabled item scrolling (no clue why it was disabled in the first place lol)
Fixed Quantum Quarry's pump upgrade not requiring an Upgrade Base
Fixed the Matrix Enchanting Table not being a separate block even though it should've been
Added a log recipe for Minecraft chests
- I intended to add this alongside the plank recipes, but never got around to it Fixed the Comparator recipe not showing up
Fixed the Artificial Dragon Egg quest
Fixed Refined Pipes not being recyclable
Fixed creative items using Refined Pipes when they should be using ducts
Fixed the Creative Energy Cell not having the Quintessal rarity

Fixed the Artificial Dragon Egg missing an input - The dragon scale recipe now takes 2.5 minutes to craft (was 1)
Fixed Knightmetal Scrap smelting into Fiery Ingots Fixed the Wailing Garth overriding the Soul Sand Valley
- Wraiths can now spawn there too as a failsafe Fixed Energy and Fluid Pipes (from Refined Pipes) still being obtainable Fixed Rose Gold casting recipes sometimes giving the wrong output
- Also disabled (as much as I can, at least) Tinkers' Rose Gold Fixed energy and fluid pipes being used in some stuff even though they're deprecated (reported by unitcircle in the feedback channel)
Fixed Myalite not showing up in the worldgen of The End - For some reason, Vazkii didn't fill out Quark's default config with parameters for modded biomes - but I fixed it!
- Tweaked the spawnrates of Myalite to be a bit more balanced with the slight biome variety
- Before fixing the worldgen, I added some recipes for it. Said recipes still remain just in case you can't find it (or it breaks and doesn't generate), but I'l probably remove them in the next update Fixed Rose Gold Blocks not being decraftable into Tinker's Rose Gold (reported by unitcircle in the feedback channel)
- Kind of a band-aid fix, but it's the only way I can fix it without having to rebalance/overhaul a lot of stuff Fixed bows dropped by the Snow Queen not being coinifiable with Crushing Wheels
Added a recipe to coinify the Ender Bow (as intended from the start)
Fixed my custom Create recipes using the wrong durations
Fixed a few milling recipes not giving the correct amount
Fixed a few Sawdust recipes not giving the correct amount
Fixed the default Granite -> Red Sand milling recipe being removed when it shouldn't be
Balance changes
Overhauled quarry progression
- Changed the recipe for Fueled and Powered Quarries
- The Powered Quarry is now used to craft the Ender Quarry
- The Ender Quarry is now used to craft the Quantum Quarry (was a Powered Quarry)
- Tweaked a couple of Quantum Quarry's recipes to require items from Ender Quarry
- Changed the Endercell from Mechanical Crafting to Ender Crafting
- Tweaked the crafting times for a few things
- Tweaked quest rewards
Rebalanced all of Apothosis' enchantment changes (again)
Disabled the Ring of Seven Curses' insomnia effect
- This will still make phantoms spawn every night, but you can now sleep through the night. It's not really a "curse" as it's just annoying moreso than being a real threat like the other effects are.
Enabled the Viscal Isles
Disabled the Ethereal Islands, Nightshade Forest, and Imparius Grove
- Removed the custom tag from each wood
Iridium Fuel Cells now give 1.2 Million RF in a Stirling Dynamo (was 128k)
- Now smelts 4 stacks of items (was 1) Wandering Traders now use Coins instead of Emeralds
- A few modded trades were unaffected by this change though Tweaked Lightman's Currency coin values in the Numismatic Dynamo
- Coin Piles and Blocks can no longer be turned into RF as I can't find a good way to balance their RF value vs. Essenarium value Fake players can now be used to gather Coin Drops (allows you to automate it)
Satchels can no longer store Bundles
Rose Gold armour now gives the same protection as Gold, but has more durability and gives +2 armour toughness
- Reduced the tool durability to better match it The Flux Capacitor now stores 250k RF by default (was 500)
Crushing Scoria now gives Andesite and Calcite more often
Reduced the Gilded Netherite Sword's damage to 10 (was 12)
Reduced durability for all Gilded Netherite items to 2,050 (was 2,200)
Heavily nerfed Deep Resonance crystals to try and make them somewhat balanced
Repairing the Long Fall Boots with Diamond/Obsidian now accepts Dust versions of each resource
Repairing the Long Fall Boots with Iron now uses 3 ingots (was 2)
Corundum now gives 80% energy cost to a Pulverizer instead of 90%
Modded dungeon loot no longer spawns in buildings from Repurposed Structures
Money Mending now uses Emerald coins (was Iron)
Economy changes
Every coinable item now has a tooltip (shown when holding shift)
- This is done via the
quintessence:coinabletag, so you can also filter JEI to view all the items
Charms of Life are now worth 5,000/20,000 (was 2,500/10,000)
Charms of Keeping are now worth 625/2,500/10,000 (was 500/2,000/8,000)
Throwing Cards are now worth 1 Essenarium (was 0.5)
Ice Bombs now give 1,750 Essenarium (was 1,500)
Soul Beads now give 200 Essenarium (was 180)
Re-balanced all mob coin drops
- Only humanoid enemies and bosses give coins
- Unless denoted below, the coin type dropped remains unchanged
Withers now drop Emerald coins
Wither Skeletons now drop Iron Coins

Recipe changes
Overhauled all the recipes for Wormhole to require more tech-y items
The Quicklime recipe for Paper now gives 6 (was 1)
The Zinc recipe for the Fuel Canister now requires a Black Iron ingot (was Iron)
Added a Crystallizer recipe for Ender Dust -> Ender Pearls
Throwing Cards can now be recycled into Paper
- Coinification recipe remains, but has been moved to the new Coinifier block Removed the recycling recipe for Nautilus Shells
- They now make Quicklime, which can also be used to make Compost (from Thermal Expansion)
Added recipes to make Sugar in a Fractionating Still

Tweaked my custom processing recipes for Malum's ores
- Also added the Cluster of Brilliance to the Pulverizer Iridium-boosting Platinum now gives more Ingots
My custom blasting recipes now smelt in 5 seconds to be consistent
Crushed Cobalt, Platinum, and Pendorite can now be smelted in a Redstone Furnace - Meant to do this last update, but forgot
- Also boosted their XP amounts Recipes that require a Crafting Table now accept modded Crafting Tables
Tweaked the Quintessence recipe to work with the slightly different modlist - Also changed some other stuff that I don't feel like listing out (just check the wiki's recipe pic if you want to see the differences)
- Replaced the Soul Quartz Block with a Necronium Block (since the mod removed Soul Quartz)
- Removed the energy pipe from Refined Pipes
Moved the Zinc recipe for the Fuel Canister to the Basic Crafting Table Changed the Bundle recipe to match the vanilla recipe
- Moved it to regular crafting instead of basic crafting

The Creative Energy Cell and RF Coil now require Iridium Fuel Cells to craft
Wallets now require the corresponding coin to craft (excluding Diamond and Netherite ones)
Diamond and Netherite Wallets no longer require the corresponding coin to upgrade
- The Diamond Wallet is now upgraded tp Netherite in a Smithing Table instead of a Basic Crafting Table Prismarine Rails now recycle into Prismarine Shards and Crystals
