  • A nature focused mod that adds dozens of new breedable tree types, as well as hundreds of different types of bees to generate any type of item you desire. Overpowered, but requires a lot of work and knowledge.

  • Pam's HarvestCraft

  • Adds a ton of new food options, as well as ways to cook more beneficial foods. 

  • Storage Drawers

  • Provides some more aesthetically pleasing storage options.

  • The Twilight Forest

  • Adds a new fantastical dimension filled with creatures and NPCs reminiscent of a fairytale. Includes a few new bosses with unique and powerful loot.

  • Tinkers Construct

  • A gigantic mod that adds the ability to forge and craft unique and extremely powerful weapons, tools, and armor. With millions of possible material combinations, no two weapons or tools are exactly alike.

  • Waystones

  • Adds teleporters in every large village that can be used to travel between one another. Costs experience, and can be crafted for an easy teleportation from your base.

  • Multiblock power generators using various gas intakes and fans to generate power.

  • Applied Energistics 2

  • Large mod adding supercomputers capable of holding trillions of items, working as a sort of bottomless pseudo-chest. Has many automation possibilities.

  • Buildcraft

  • Provides multiple industrial solutions to automate basic minecraft processes, a classic staple of industrial packs since 2011.

  • Ender IO

  • Another extremely powerful industrial automation mod. Includes a few dozen unique machines.

  • Industrial Foregoing

  • The king of all automation mods, adding plenty of useful machines to industrialize just about any process.

  • Mekanism

  • One of the best industrialization mods available, introducing dozens of new machines, generators, and items. Includes jetpacks!

  • Thermal Dynamics

  • Another incredible tech mod that provides extremely useful machines and items for just about any scenario. 

Magic:

• • Astral Sorcery

  • Magical mod focused on harnessing the power of the stars.

  • Blood Magic

  • A dark magic mod using blood from players or creatures to produce powerful and dangerous rituals.

  • Draconic Evolution

  • An absurdly powerful end-game focused mod that provides weapons, tools, and armor unrivaled in their power, durability and speed. One of my personal favorites.

  • Dragon Mounts 2

  • A mod that adds nine unique dragon types that can be tamed, mounted, flown, and weaponized.

  • Electroblob's Wizardry

  • Adds dozens of powerful spells and wands in a linear progression styled learning curve.

  • Mystical Agriculture

  • Provides the ability to grow any material in the game from seeds.

  • Thaumcraft

  • An incredibly deep magical mod that adds more features and items than can be summed up in a few sentences. Absolutely one of the best and most recognizable magical mods ever produced.

Utilities:

• • Baubles

  • Adds extra equipment  slots such as rings, amulets, backpacks, etc.

  • Bonsai Trees

  • A simple mod that provides an automatic tree growing plot.

  • Ender Storage 1.8.+

  • Provides a superior replacement for ender chests, making them cross-dimensional based on color coding rather than just by individual player. Useful for transporting items from one dimension to another, or accessing your best items from anywhere.

  • Extra Utilities

  • A fun that adds a little bit of everything, such as generators, teleporters, and a plethora of useful items / tools.

  • Inventory Tweaks

  • Small mod that allows automatic sorting of chests and inventories, as well as a few other helpful features.

  • Iron Chests

  • Adds larger storage options for all of your item holding needs.

  • JourneyMap

  • A simple minimap that can be used to plot waypoints and review already explored terrain.

  • Just Enough Items (JEI)

  • Adds an inventory guide that shows  every block and item available in the game. Used to discover recipes for items you wish to craft, and show uses for items in other recipes. Any modded player’s best friend.

  • OpenBlocks

  • A mod that adds random useful blocks and tools. No centralized theme, just a bunch of really cool stuff.

  • Ore Excavation

  • An extremely useful mod that allows instant excavation of ores or similar blocks at the cost of hunger.
