I'm sorry to report that due to the problems with a few mods in this pack I'm giving up on it.
I'm not going to publish my play through of this and I'll start a new pack soon or wait for mods to update to 1.17.
This tries to fix Minecraft for me: there is no need for killing monsters
there are machines to mine, process resources, manage resources, generate resources, and build.
basically this changes the game but still gives the player the feeling of accomplishment.
Based around the mods:
- Mekanism, resource processing
- RFTools: resource collection with the builder
- Refined Storage: resource manipulation, storage and crafting
- Ultimate Skyblock Resource generator: I said no mining
- Advanced Rocketry: to go beyond
- Peaceful Recipes: avoid fighting
- Compact Machines: (my system is slow)
- Alchemistry: for fun (and resources)
Who's afraid of the nether? I'm afraid of the nether - recommend switching to peaceful when going to the nether
Who's annoyed with the monsters? I'm annoyed with the monster - recommend switching to peaceful once you are so powerful that monsters are no longer a threat.
Don't forget to install OptiFine specially if your system is slow.
