Humanity did not survive the great rift. You did. Why did you?

You must now forget what was lost and survive on what is left. The world is personally hostile to you, as it knows you are not meant to be there, and it will try with all of its power to remove you. Don't let this happen.

You have to scavenge the remains of society, survive monsters that far surpass your strength, and continue to adapt to the world around you. You have no other choice.
