ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR WORLDS BEFORE UPDATING!!! I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH! MAKE. BACKUPS!
General notes about this update:
-
BisectHosting is a sponsor of Survive Create Prosper 4! Don't worry, nothing is going to change for you. Serverpacks will still be released with every update as per usual. Had this deal had any impact on the functionality or the way the updates are released, I would not have accepted it. Click the image below to check out their servers and recieve 25% off of your first month!

When browsing your server list in the Multiplayer Menu, ignore the fact that it says "Incompatibel FML modded server. Server mod list is not compatible." for a given SCP4 server. The reason for that message are the server-side missing client-side mods.
Client has mods that are missing on server: [ctm, jeresources, sf, clienttweaks, shutupexperimentalsettings, worldnamerandomizer, mousetweaks, dynamic surroundings, durability101, preciseblockplacing, betteradvancements, oldjavawarning]Connected Texture Mod, Just Enough Resources, Spawner Fix, Client Tweaks, Shut Up Experimental Settings, Worldname Randomizer, Mouse Tweaks, Durability 101, Precise Block Placing, Better Advancements, Dynamic Surroundings and Old Java Warning are all client-side and do NOT need to be installed on the server. Hence the warning. -
Minecraft server install scripts The minecraftserver.jar is not allowed to be distributed as per Mojang's EULA and TOS, therefor, my serverpacks include scripts for both Windows and Linux systems which download the needed minecraftserver.jar for you. Simply execute them and they will download the correct .jar file for you.
- Linux: Execute downloadminecraftserver_forge.bat
- Windows: Execute downloadminecraftserver_forge.sh
-
Start scripts are in start_scripts:
-
Linux:
- Use go.sh in start_scripts/linux/ to start the server
- Use console.sh in start_scripts/linux/ to access the console
- Use help.sh in start_scripts/linux/ to display help
- Use stop.sh in start_scripts/linux to stop the server
-
Windows:
- Use start.bat in start_scripts/windows to start the server
- Notify me if these do not work or behave strangely. I personally use AMP for running an SCP server and my local windows machine for testing it. Meaning: I only get to test the start.bat file, AMP does the Linux part for me.
