Guns, PVP, traps, a few dimensions and bosses, the full FTB suite, tamable creatures, and all the common quality of life additions. Mobs are much tougher, and the game is less forgiving with heat, cold, thirst, and whatever nonsense you may encounter (infernal mobs, smarter AI, players with missiles, etc.).
