Inspired by thrite's "Surviving Minecraft's Hottest Mod" series, I've compiled this modpack and put my own twist on it with QOL tweaks, gameplay updates, and a few extras! Here's what you can expect when you boot up the modpack:
Core Gameplay Mods:
-Cold Sweat: Worlds now have a dynamic temperature system that changes based on biome, weather, elevation/depth, and player interaction!
-Sun-Burn: A mod/datapack that turns the sun's rays into a dangerous hazard! Cover your head before sunrise, or you'll get sun-burned!
-Survivable Deserts: As this is intended to be played on a desert-only world, Survivable Deserts has been introduced to make sure you've still got sources of food, wood, and, rarely, animals/pools of water.
-Thirsty Bottles: Water bottles will now consume the block of water they are used on, preventing infinite water sources. Now, cauldrons actually do something useful!
-Tough As Nails: Adds a thirst mechanic. Don't forget your waterskin!
-Water Physics Overhaul: Now, water behaves realistically, filling holes from the bottom and working its way up, until eventually spilling over. Woo, fluid physics!!
Additional Mods:
-Create: If you've played my previous pack, Simian, you'll know Create is my favorite mod, and it has a permanent home in all of my modpacks! Build impressive machines, auto-mine for ores, and be the engineer you were made to be!
-Tinkers Construct: Smelt ores down, and forge them into impressive, stronger-than-netherite tools/weapons!
-Farmer's Delight: An expansion to the vanilla farming system, as well as an addon that integrates with Create!
-Storage Drawers: Compact storage blocks that can hold exponentially larger amounts of blocks than vanilla could ever dream!
-Lootr: Tired of exploring dungeons that have already been picked through? Lootr's got you covered! Now, each world-generated chest will generate new inventories per-player, all from the same loot pool.
-Simple Voice Chat: Proximity voice chat!
-Sound Filter: Audio overhaul that adds spatial audio, reverb, and quality variation depending on where the sound originates from!
