* 1ST NOTE: I'm publishing this modpack because seeing the default CurseForge modpack image just kills my vibe when I open the launcher. Updates on this modpack will be extremely irregular, as I'm playing through it myself, until I say goodbye to my save and move onto a newer version. You may comment crashes and fixes but I may not be able to fix them, as I'm not very handy in that department.

After my second mod haul, I've decided to publish the modpack I made for my 2021 save! People seemed to like my 1.12 Animal Land modpack so I can only assume that at least a small piece of the player base has the same aesthetics as me. In short, if you don't want spoilers but want to know what this pack has to offer: this is a 1.16.5 modpack that has a wide variety of dungeons to battle through, animals to collect and furniture to decorate with. The longer version will be broken up into three aspects, telling you the mods included and what to keep your eyes peeled for without showing you the details to keep the surprise! If you want the details, however, at the end in a spoiler you can find a comprehensive list of the mods included and what they add to the game.

THE ADVENTURE (Structures, Dimensions, Magic):

A long term pack can't really be long term if there's nothing to aspire for! If you're a completionist like me, I hope the mods here will give you something to spend your time on. While few, these mods provide plenty of new things to discover and add to your collection. Stalwart Dungeons, When Dungeons Arise, Yung's Better Stronghold and Curious Lands will have something new to find around every corner. Beware the dangers, however, you better come armored up! The dimensional mods Dead Guys Untitled Deep Dark and The Abyss and the magical mod Eidolon will enthrall you with sorcery.

THE COLLECTIBLES & MOBS:

If you're like me, you're a loot goblin. But you don't want diamonds and emeralds anymore. So have fun collecting mob cards, music discs, trinkets and tools with Buddycards, Inventory Pets, Music Discs Galore, and Lost Trinkets. Never enough loot. 👹 Because I added them with the same intention of collecting them, I'll also tell you of the mobs here! With Bettas, Crewmates, Fins and Tails, Ice and Fire, Odd Water Mobs, Straw Golem Reborn, Unnamed Animal Mod, Untamed Wilds, Exotic Birds and Untitled Duck mod, there's plenty of mobs to discover. Careful though, not all are friendly. Maybe the Herobrine staring from a distance (The Legend of Herobrine) can help you.

THE HOME:

After all the fighting and exploring, you want to come back to a place that feels like home. While I can't give you building advice (I use pinterest for inspiration!), I can give you the tools. Chipped offers varying designs to already existing blocks with work stations, Cutecore adds beautiful new biomes and, well, adorable wood types, and the rest (Fairy Lights, Macaws Fences and Walls, Market Crates, Nef's Medieval Decorations, Plush Life, Pollinate and Skinned Lanterns) give you plenty of decorations to spruce up the place. Oh, there's some more immersive cooking too, with Farmer's Delight and Some Assembly Required.
