This Mod Pack is a pack of many great client-side mods that I have found to make the game better, but it doesn't change the game too much. This mod pack is great for when you want to play vanilla-ish Minecraft with your friends while playing vanilla. Many of these mods are simply tweaks or performance enhancements. It is recommended to disable the Physics Mod if you are playing with others.
