Stone Cold is a modpack set on pitting you into to fights against powerful foes, testing your ability in combat as well as your ability deal with pressure and think smart. At the same time, your ability to manage your safety and survive in an unforgiving environment will be tested. Overall, it is a hardcore pack with a focus on accessibility- you don't need to invest tons of time in one sitting to progress, but rather are able to progress at your own pace. On top of this, while the pack is designed around hardcore mode, it's perfectly possible to play in survival mode. It's important to note that accessible does not mean easy. The pack itself doesn't do much hand-holding. You will need to figure out how to complete objectives and survive- you are your guide in this hostile world.

This might not be a tale of success- perhaps it's a tragedy. Your actions and decisions will decide on the fate of your quest for vengeance.

Stone Cold is a story of interdimensional vengeance. One day, you wake up alone, in unfamiliar lands... Your home, your friends, your family, all gone, dead or maybe even worse. As the sole survivor of a cataclysmic event that shattered your kingdom, you must rebuild what you have lost and exact your vengeance on the Ancient Gods that took everything from you.

There are upwards of 10 realms in which you will fight all manner of enemies, including the Ancients themselves. Your objective is to tear down all of the Gods in each realm and, in doing so, restore peace across the realms. The Ancients will occasionally send their minions to organize attacks against you, and you will need to survive. With no army to retaliate, your only option will be to cut the head off of the snake. With one life, one chance, to defeat over 60 of the universe's most evil and abominable creations, in intense and fierce bossfights, you will have to think about your actions, and suffer the consequences of your failures. No single fight should be taken lightly. Scavenge the remains of civilization throughout the overworld to start yourself off.

What comes after vengeance? Domination? Rebirth? The power is in your hands to decide, once you have rid the universe of the Ancients.

THIS PACK IS INTENDED TO BE PLAYED IN HARDCORE MODE.

You'll need at least 4gb of RAM allocated to the modpack for it to work smoothly!

-The Undead and Unholy are best attacked with Silver, as swords of general metals and materials will be mostly ineffective

-Team up with your friends for a better chance of surviving!

-Forests that feel like forests! You can climb up trees to escape monsters!

-Tinker's Construct, for a fully customizable arsenal

-More vicious and powerful mobs. Blight monsters, the henchmen of the Ancient Gods, are out hunting you in the world!

-Intelligent AI that work together to attack you

-Unique mini-bosses populate the darkest corners of the world, each with their own powerful pieces of unique equipment to help you grow in power

-Enhanced world generation, above and below ground

-Blood Magic for those unafraid to embrace the forbidden arts and potentially unlimited power.

-Hundreds of new enemies will force you to adapt to survive

-Countless new sets of armour with set bonuses and buffs

I recommend the use of Chocapic13's shader for this pack, as it supports changes to the minimum lights levels (which need to be done in the options manually, if you will play with shaders)!

This modpack is heavily work in progress. Expect a lot of changes and some mistakes!
