After almost a full year, the pack is getting what will likely be one of its last major updates, The Revamp Update. This update makes many major changes, both in what mods are present, and gameplay difficulty. The idea of the Revamp Update is restoring the pack closest to its original design as much as possible, keeping improvements made over time, and removing a lot of tediousness primarily found through crafting with the Extended Crafting Tables mod, as well as the Artisan Workbench mod. Additionally, this update sees the removal of a plethora of mods that were either a bit overpowered, or just seemed unneeded given the progression system of the pack and for the sake of better performance. While the quest system still does remain unfinished, it should be at least *possible* to get all the way to the surface world, however this is something I need to look a bit more into at this point. However, the main parts of the pack have received needed adjustments to still allow progressing through most of the quest tree.
Changes:
-Removed Extended Crafting Tables an all recipes that used them
-Removed Artisan Workbenches and all recipes that used them
-Recipes and Quests early to mid game have been adjusted due to the above changes, some of which were restored to much earlier versions of the pack (1.3 era)
-Removed Ancient Warfare (Performance)
-Removed Apotheosis as it was deemed a bit too powerful (though it is a candidate to possibly return)
-Removed Astral Sorcery (largely outside of the main progression system and helps performance)
-Removed Chisel (Unneeded)
-Removed Mystical Agriculture (Overpowered, lots of things still need to be adjusted due to this removal)
-Removed Open Blocks (Unneeded)
-Removed Reliquary (Unneeded)
-Removed many Tinkers and Thaumcraft Addons
-Removed a plethora of other misc mods, many of which were libraries
-Mobs from Quark no longer spawn
-Most mobs from Primative mobs no longer spawn
As always, please reach out to me with any feedback!
