Description:
Steampunk's Paradise Diet is a Vanilla+ modpack that stemmed from the idea of the original Steampunk's paradise pack, but without most mods that add a plethora of mechanics and new items to the game. Instead, this pack is mostly focused on the world generation aspect of the original pack while trying to keep the game feeling more like a normal game of Minecraft. This modpack has been designed to not only improve on and add to Vanilla Gameplay mechanics in a world of floating islands (we even have features from the nether update!), but to add to the game in a way that keeps a steampunk theme with the addition airships and new dungeons to explore. Dive in to experience a unique adventure in this finely tuned modpack. Will you be able to overcome the obstacles that this world possesses?
This pack does not provide a quest system like the original pack, and it is unlikely that it will.
This modpack is designed to be played on the SKYLANDS world type!
Gameplay Progression:
Delving into a world, you will almost certainly notice a feeling of being stuck on the island where you spawn. Water is scarce, resources are limited, and many mobs wander beneath the overhangs of the islands. Luckily however, if you can locate some wool, string, and wood, crafting a ship's helm and balloons will allow for much easier movement to different places! But be wary of what guards these skies... Perhaps journeying to the nether could help you find resources to better overcome these obstacles after advancing enough in the sky islands? And maybe the end contains a secret to being safe from the void?
While mining for resources is still possible, it is recommended to seek other methods of gathering resources for the long term. It is very difficult to find lower leveled ores like Diamond, Gold, and Redstone. Luckily, there are methods of getting around this! Scattered throughout the world are a plethora of dungeons, but it is also possible to produce resources through ex-nihilo as a means to a sustainable resources supply! As you gather more resources , additional methods for creating resources will become available.

Known Issues:
-Spawning into the Overworld can sometimes lead you straight into the void. Either try just making a new world, or consider using creative mod to fly to a nearby island. (If anyone knows a mod to fix this please let me know!)
