What's new

StaTech Industry 1.1.0 Changelog:

Finally, it's here. This took way longer than I had initially anticipated when I started the discussion channel nearly a month ago now. After probably like 200 hours of tinkering, adjustments, and code changes, I believe it's finally ready. The major focus of this update is expanding the scope of the modpack while trimming off some of the more annoying bits. The mod removals are mainly based on community feedback of features that weren't really liked. Overall, this changelog is going to be a long one, so buckle in.

Existing Worlds
For those of you on existing worlds, you will either need to reinstall Terralith manually or manually remove the biomes from the `level.dat` file in your world folder. A tutorial can be found in the Discord if you need assistance in doing so.

In addition to Terralith, you need to go through the mod removal list and gauge if you are affected by a removal. You can either readd the mod manually, or find a way to mitigate it's removal prior to updating the pack. The removal of Terralith will NOT cause your world to have chunk boundaries like if you were to change Minecraft versions.

I would highly recommend a backup before updating

New Features:

Materials

I've included some new materials to expand some of the processing lines and add more to the modpack overall.
- Polytetrafluoroethlyene - No good Greg-loving industrialist would be caught dead without a stack of these on their person.
- Enderium - An ingot forged from the mythical properties of Endermen.
- Liquid Ender & Molten Enderium - Used primarily in the process of making Enderium
- Fluorite && Fluorine - A new material to react in your chemical reactors
- Blood - Used to run the mob crusher, can be harvested from Rotten Flesh as well
- Liquid Concrete && Concrete Bar - Liquid concrete is used to create the Concrete Bar, which is a powerful food item added in this update
- Drilling Fluid - For now just used in the recipe for the Core Mining Drill, but might be expanded to be used in all quarries hehe
- Core Slurry - A byproduct from the Core Mining Drill that can be centrifuged into important materials
- Wood Tar - A new byproduct from pyrolysing logs.
- PTFE Chem Line - The following are used pretty much exclusively in the PTFE processing line
- Tetrafluoroethylene
- Hydrofluoric Acid - I will probably find more uses for this
- Chloroform
- Mob Crusher Models - There's a model for almost every vanilla mob. They are produced in the Laser Engraver.
- Core Fragment - A lategame material produced by the Core Mining Drill

Multiblocks

This update ships a handful of new multiblocks to further enhance your factory building experience. Click here for image previews of the multiblock
- The Industrial Greenhouse - Aimed to be both an early game and server friendly solution to tree farms. It takes any sapling, water, and optionally a piece of bonemeal, and spits out the corresponding log and sapling types. It becomes extremely fast with overclocking.
- The Mob Crusher - Another server friendly alternative to mob farming, the Mob Crusher takes in a new item called a data card that corresponds to a mob and outputs the drops from that mob, with a chance to consume the card. Runs on the blood of your enemies.
- The Large Chemical Reactor - The LCR inherits all the recipes from the regular Chemical Reactor, but runs four at a time at half the power cost. That means you get 4x the processing at half the cost, with the additional bonus of it being a multiblock so it can overclock even higher. It's made out of Polytetrafluoroethylene, which is new in this update.
- The Core Mining Drill - A lategame immense multiblock for the purpose of mining up Core Fragments.
- The Quasi Quantum Singularity Forge - The ultimate final multiblock of the pack. It's exclusive purpose is to produce Singularities.
- The Pyrolyse Oven - While not technically new to the pack, the recipes have been reworked entirely to offer up different production methods. One of which being the production of Benzene.

Machines

Along with the new multiblocks are two new helpful singleblock machines
- The Laser Engraver - The new way to produce printed circuits from AE2 as well as the new mob model cards.
- Photosynthetic Chamber - Another lag friendly alternative to growing crops. Provide it with water and a seed and it will produce crops for you overtime.

Worldgen

Two words: Gregic Oregen. That's right, the large ore vein generation has returned. These ore veins generate throughout the world and will require you to find them before you can get the respective material. You can find them by using the small samples that spawn on the surface as a guide or by using a Prospector's Pick/Scanner. If you need help finding a specific vein, you can click the ore in REI and view the information tab to learn more about where that ore generates.

Progression

Progression still remains relatively familiar, but there are a few significant aspects to consider
- The AE2 controller, buses, cables, interfaces, and terminals are now craftable using MV materials rather than HV. Digital storage, autocrafting, and wireless terminals remain to be gated behind HV progression. The recipes for patterns have also been nerfed in the hopes of promoting the passive crafting needed to properly beat the pack.
- Instead of Steel, your first Ad Astra rocket will be constructed using Enderium. This semi-magical material will allow for safe passage to heavenly bodies.
- FTB Ultimine has been removed. This has been done to compensate for the new ore veins being added, otherwise it would trivialize the whole process. To counteract this, 3x3 hammers have been added to the pack and are obtainable pretty early into the pack. The Steam Mining Drill has had its recipe adjusted to be unlocked after Steel instead of Bronze, meaning you will need to use the hammers up until then.
- Singularities have had their recipe completely changed from default MI. You now need the Singularity Forge to produce them. In addition, the ultradense metal balls have had their recipes changed to include a lot of Core Fragments from the Core Mining Drill.
- Spectrum endgame prograssion has been gated behind MV MI progression by the use of Eye of Enders. Rushing the Spectrum endgame for the OP things it adds was a common issue in the 1.0.X versions and hopefully this helps mitigate this a litte.
- Benzene is now a burnable fuel. At 100 EU/mb it's not the greatest, however it can be generated extensively using the new Pyrolyse Oven recipes.
- All of the Rocket Part Assembler recipes now require Molten Enderium to process
- Fire Clay Dust now requires Clay Dust in it's recipe rather than just Clay Balls. Additionally electrolyzing clay needs to be Clay Dust not Clay Balls.

Major mod updates

- Create Rise & Shine - All the dependent mods have finally been updated! All the cool features from the new Create update are here!
- KubeJS 6.1 - You probably won't notice anything on the playerside, but this was a big update for the mod that powers like 80% of this pack.

Added mods:
- Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals - Was supposed to be added this update but slipped in a little early. Adds new wireless terminals to AE2 and includes a quantum card for infinite range / dimension access
- CraftingTweaks - The exploit was patched awhile ago I just forgot to readd it
- Dank Storage - A really really really big backpack
- Enhanced Block Entities - Increases the performance of tile entities
- Forgiving Void - Added so you don't die in the Void Dimension :P
- FTB XMod Compat - Compatability mod for FTB mods
- Geocluster - Mod that controls the oregen throughout the world. The source of all the Gregic oregen.
- Just Another Void Dimension - Adds a void dimension and portal
- Lumberaxe - A vein mining axe, created by our very own tacomonkey11!
- Peripheralium - Library for Peripheral Works
- UnlimitedPeripheralWorks - Allows for CC integration to a lot of new blocks and mods
- supermartijn642 Config Lib - Configuration library for Wireless Chargers mod
- supermartijn642 Core Lib - Core library for Wireless Chargers mod
- Tech Enhanced - Adds some extra tools and equipment to Tech Reborn. Backported by our own thepigcat76!
- Tom's Storage Revamped - Not a mod, but a resourcepack. It's enabled by default and aims to make Tom's Storage look nicer.
- Trowel - Adds the tool from Quark that places random blocks from your hotbar.
- Vanilla Hammers - 3x3 Mining hammers, what else do you expect
- Wireless Chargers - Blocks that will charge your electronic gear while nearby

Removed mods:
- Amplified Nether - Generally made the Nether even more of a pain to traverse and removed the functionality of building anything on the roof
- Better Animals Plus - Most of the animals from this mod were pretty annoying and some of them tended to be really laggy for multiplayer
- Boundweapons - Unused by the community, these temporary tools just don't fit in with the pack
- Creeper Overhual - Adds some very annoying variants of Creepers that break regular mob spawning rules
- True Darkness - Extremely gimmicky mod that only served to annoy people. I thought it was cool from GTNH but playing with it is very annoying
- Display Case - Unused by all and the spin animation was quite laggy
- Dusk - Increased the mob cap way too much and caused issues with sleeping
- Enhanced Celestials - Would be much better if you could turn off the annoying noise that played during them. Blood moons are kinda annoying for a pack like this too.
- Farmer's Respite - Crash when loaded with latest version of Farmer's Delight
- FTB Ultimine - This one is going to be controversial, but with the new large ore deposits it would be absolutely busted and remove any challenge from mining them.
- ImmediatelyFast - Incompatability with AppleSkin on the HUD
- Legendary Tooltips - It broke with a recent mod update and I haven't been able to find out what's causing it
- Measurements - Kibe added it's own measuring tape that's a lot better than this one
- Nullscape - Didn't generate properly, and besides BYG already adds plenty to the end as is
- ProbeJS - I use this for VSCode integration, but it's been generating very frequently when joining a game, which would be a very negative effect for most users
- Raised - Broke with one of the mod updates. It has existing problems with farmer's delight food overlays and such, as well as Tinker's, so once a working 1.19.2 tinkers port would be available it would be broken there as well.
- RandomBlockPlacement - Only worked with a keybind or a command and is being replaced by the Trowel mod
- Roughly Enough Resources - No longer needed now that ore deposits are more accurately displayed in the REI information tab
- SkylorLib - Library mod for boundweapons
- Spirit - Mob farming functionality replaced with new MI multiblock
- Terralith - Extremely heavy on world generation performance and breaks being able to make flat worlds. In combination with ore gen could be extremely laggy.
- Vitalize - Mob farming functionality replaced with new MI multiblock
