This is a lighter modpack made for my friends, with a realistic projection of the world kind of map in mind.
The pack contains about 80 mods, and will work best with the map found here.
Explore a realistic projection (Mercator) of Earth with distributed resources!
This modpack is the most fun with friends on a server. Use plugins like factions or the included FTBUtil land claiming to determine civilizations. With MCA, you'll have real "citizens" to care and protect for from other players who may be tempted to declare war on you to take your resources!
Alternatively, use the combination of Alternate Terrain Generation and Biomes o' Plenty to create beautiful and sprawling landscapes that leave much more to the imagination!
Also included are utilities to create more dimensions so that you can have separate worlds for strip mining/quarrying than the beautiful globe projection or nicely generated terrain.
This modpack does not include much in the way of magic but is heavily focused on tech. To traverse vast landscapes, Railcraft will be your best friend. Create trade agreements with other players to fund transcontinental rail lines!
