spring is here

NOTE: this modpack is abandoned, it was more of a fun project to see how many mods i could put together without the game crashing (the result was surprisingly well!). don't bother downloading it as i don't even think it works anymore due to curseforge changes. it's kept up in case i ever want to return to it.

 

hello person reading this! welcome to the first iteration of my modpack! spring is here! (❀SPRING IS ALWAYS HERE!!❀ (＾▽＾)／ ) in this modpack you can explore the great wonders of minecraft as I did 5 years ago! here you can become a steampunk clockwork technician, crafting gears and blowing off steam (just like i am writing this, haha puns (〃⌒∇⌒) ), or you can become some crazy weird scientist, that explodes the world with TNT to obtain materials to create some crazy pressure chamber! (hint, you have to blow up iron!!!). You can also become some epic danmaku person (google it if you don't know the word) that hurts fairies and stuff (you monster  ಡ ﹏ ಡ   ) The possibilities are quite endless （´ω｀） in fact they are so endless I don't think explaining just 3 mods to define the pack is even fair, so here's a fourth()! you can even become a crazy, but instead of weird, SCARY magician (or as us people familiar with modded minecraft call it, thaumaturges), think harry potter, but you dont have to learn latin (just kidding, thaumcraft (a magic mod in this pack) uses latin too (•ˇ‿ˇ•) ). BUT WAIT!! YOU CAN ALSO EXPLORE IN THIS PACK! AND FIGHT BOSSES!!!! With 2 hundred something biomes and atleast 9 new dimensions (it's actually more like 20 i just like the number 9 baka) and hundreds of new mobs (you find them in the new dimensions), you will never, maybe, ok probably eventually get bored! I hope you like this description I worked so hard on, honestly I don't even care if you don't download my pack at this point, if you read this far you i just love you (❀◦‿◦). thanks and have a good day.

 

P.S. I had to write that to get this pack accepted on CF initially, im keeping it cause i like it, below is the more technical explanation of the modpack:

 

this modpack is a very large (~320 mods) kitchen sink-like pack that centers on being unfair and difficult. many recipes for well known mods in the pack are buffed up to require more resources or machines to create a pseudo-progression system (think PO2 kappa mode but without the boring galacticraft grind), while most of the lesser known mods are kept with unmodified crafting recipes (unless it's like a super powerful weapon or tool, yo). there is no quest book or predefined goal in this pack, so what to do is up to you. whatever you do I suggest bringing a friend, because dying alone isn't fun!

MISC INFO:

*Windows 10 users MUST set -Dfile.encoding=utf-8 as an additional JVM arguments to run the pack, if your pack crashes at launch, not having this is probably why. (possibly fixed)

*singleplayer worlds take a long time to load. (if you think it's frozen it's probably not)

*you probably need atleast 4gb allocated to run this pack as a player on a server. i personally was using 7 while testing in SSP.
