Smooth Spud

A "Vanilla+" modpack designed for low-end PCs.

It adds no new content and does not alter the core gameplay. It’s the classic Minecraft experience—just smoother and better-looking.

What’s included:

Performance
This is the foundation of the pack. It combines mods for optimizing rendering, memory, chunk loading, entities, and startup (including Embeddium, ModernFix, FerriteCore, Canary, ImmediatelyFast, Entity Culling, and Dynamic FPS) to ensure smooth gameplay while keeping RAM and CPU usage low.

Animations and Visuals
- Animations for players and mobs via "Fresh Animations"
- More lifelike animals with "Better Vanilla Animals"
- Dynamic lighting, enhanced particles, and glowing ores
- Shader support via "Oculus" (includes "Potato Shader" for modest hardware)
- Animated Mojang logo during startup

Sound
Realistic ambient audio and acoustics provided by "Sound Physics Remastered" and "AmbientSounds."

Quality of Life
Features include "Jade" for on-screen tooltips, "JEI" for recipes, Xaero’s minimap and world map, "AppleSkin," improved achievements, double-door functionality, rapid leaf decay, and various UI enhancements.
