Create is a tech-based mod that uses SU (stress units) as the biggest part of the mod. Without that, nothing will run. How you get SU is by creating water wheels, steam engines, and windmills.
Alex's Caves is an exploration-type mod. You start by finding cabins underground to find cave tables, spelunker tables, and the Cave Compendium. Then you will have to decipher the text to get a scroll, then use that to make a map to find all the new caves.
