SkyTech Evolution 1.0.9 Final Beta

Player Changelog since 1.0.8

This is the final beta version before the first full release of SkyTech Evolution. The update focuses on making important progression routes clearer, more reliable and better suited for a Void/Skyblock world.

Progression Improvements

• Added a proper non-sifting route for Black Quartz.

• Black Quartz can now be crafted through a Skyroot bridge recipe using:

  • Quartz
  • Coal or Charcoal
  • Redstone
  • Skyroot Resin

• Added a stronger Create Mixing route for producing Black Quartz in larger batches.

• Sifting is still possible, but it is no longer the only early way to enter Actually Additions.

Actually Additions Entry

• Added a clearer early route into Actually Additions.

• Added a new quest explaining how to obtain Black Quartz without guessing.

• The quest now makes it clear that Black Quartz can be obtained through both:

  • Sifting
  • Skyroot/Create-based crafting routes

Mystical Agriculture Start

• Added a Skyblock-safe route for Prosperity Shards.
• Added an early route for Inferium Essence.
• Updated the Mystical Agriculture introduction so players can understand how to begin crop progression in a Void world.

Create Cobblestone Quest Fix

• Improved the Automated Mechanical Cobblestone milestone.
• The quest now explains that it checks for the Create Cobblestone Mechanical Generator specifically.
• Normal Create Drill cobblestone generators are still useful, but the milestone now better communicates what item is required.

Void Progression Routes

Several important mod entry points are now better supported in a Skyblock/Void world:

• Productive Bees entry support
• Productive Trees entry support
• Ars Nouveau entry support
• Occultism entry support
• Powah entry support
• Immersive Engineering hemp access
• AE2 Certus / Fluix / Processor Press support
• Refined Storage silicon support
• Oritech silicon support
• Hostile Neural Networks Prediction Matrix support

These routes are intended to reduce progression dead ends where a player would otherwise need normal Overworld mining or unclear external systems.

Questbook Improvements

• Improved quest descriptions for several major mod entry routes.
• Reduced confusion around important milestones.
• Improved explanations for Void-specific resource routes.
• Reworked one AE2 quest so it now checks a real AE2 item instead of being a vague checkmark task.
• The Questbook should now better explain why certain custom SkyTech/Skyroot recipes exist.

Tooltips and Guidance

• Added or improved tooltips for several important progression items.
• Players should now have an easier time finding alternate Void-friendly routes through JEI and item descriptions.

Overall

• Better early and midgame progression clarity.
• Fewer hidden progression gaps.
• Less forced reliance on sifting for key mod entry items.
• Stronger support for the intended SkyTech Evolution route: Skyroot resources → Storage → Create → Power → Mod progression → Automation.
