Description

This modpack revolves around the MineColonies mod, mainly magic & nature oriented with a little bit (immersive) tech support.

The challenge is to build a thriving colony, maybe connect with other players (MP) or just build the nicest town in the sky (SP).

There is no Endgame planned in form of ultimate items or advancements, the main goal is to get a steady and stable resource supply for your town to develop and become even nicer.

BETA VERSION

the mod list in this pack isn't fully settled yet,  expect world breaking changes is more or less fixed now, unless something big comes up

Features:

  • SkyBlock (kinda)
    • you do start in a void world
    • the starting Island will be unusually rich on resources though (compared to the minimalistic approach) to quickly get your town rolling
    • if you dont want the void, you can try Waterworld mode: set surface true in config/skyblockbuilder/common-config.json5

 

  • Resource generation
  • Mystical Agriculture and Productive Bees are the main sources of materials (besides naturally gatherable resources of course)
  • early game resource generation from Oregen Enchant and Water Strainer
  • with the addition of other mods for converting / crafting things out of thin air or lower value items
  • there are some added recipes for items otherwise unobtainable

 

  • ~180 mods
  • many small QoL tweaks
  • heavy focus on decoration and building oriented
  • Structurize, giving you the ability to pre-design builds in creative and later watch your town grow with your very builds

 

  • Non-Expert
  • There is very little forced-progression in the sense of forcing you through mods in some random order.
  • Things are planned to be craftable mostly with their intended mod recipes
  • For an easy start there is a "Basics" category, leading through the very first steps to get you started in no time
  • Most other quest categories are meant as checkmarks to keep track of what you already explored
