A casual kitchen-sink style pack that focuses on exploration, with many of the 'usual subject' mods included

 

• Worldgen:

* Realistic Terrain Generation (RTG) provides a more realistic world to explore, Biomes O' Plenty provides it more blocks to use in its palette, and Geographicraft help them play nice together

* Ruins give the world a 'lived in' or at least 'formerly lived in' feel, dotting the terrain with clearly artificial structures.

* Aroma's Mining Dimension gives you a place to go to dig up huge swaths of land without ruining the landscape

 

Creativity:

* Chisels n' Bits is included for those of a creative or artistic bent

* Assisting with this is the old standby Chisel, plus ArchitectureCraft to provide a 'Carpenter's Blocks'-like style of additional building.

 

Tech:

* ALL tech mods are Forge Energy API compatible, so there is no need to worry about conversion between energy types
