Modpack designed around Minecolonies, with some extra dungeons and structures for exploration, newly added a couple of mods to add some animals and critters, and lots of simple QoL mods, to make things just a bit easier, without being overpowered, or making it *too* easy. Waystones and Backpacks to make exploration easier, and so that I (hopefully!) don't run out of inventory space while I am exploring the new places!
newly added in 2.0 Tectonic and Blooming Biosphere to change world gen, and make biomes a bit prettier
added in 2.02 Chunky to try and get some pregen done 'cos Tectonic is lagging me on world gen
Minecolonies itself is a way to make a thriving town, full of citizens that will buzz around your town, crafting, growing, even guards to protect your citizens! Have a Farmer grow some of the new Minecolonies exclusive foods in the Farm. Send them off to the Cookery, for your Chef to turn them into fancy dishes, that then get sent on to be served at the Restaurant by your Cook to all of your citizens! To see how many other job types there are, make good use of the Minecolonies Wiki!
Mostly just making this modpack for me, so that I can find the mods I feel I *need* to play Minecolonies! It's my first attempt at making one, so if you decided to try it, keep in mind that I will be changing/updating/fuddling around with things a lot! Basically I will be adding and removing mods all over the place as I get more used to the process!
I have recently added a few more Minecolonies building styles too!
(these are going to be harder for me to keep updated, so check their pages if you run into any problems)
- Cliffs style by McSassa and Matlom
- Warcraft Humans style by ramblingman
- Old English style by AnyankaT
- HighElven style by Palantir
- Thurloe style by Cre0sodde
(the following two are not full styles, but additional parts for the Shire style)
Just a note - Hourglass config is now in default configs folder, and will double the length of Minecraft days, so your colony has time to do more stuff uninterrupted.
This is active from version 1.4 onwards, honestly have no clue if it will work retroactively, but I assume not. You could probably copy it out of the default configs folder and overwrite the one in your saves -> (savename) -> serverconfig folder
Also I have Inventory Profiles next in the config folder set to how I like it, which turns off a heap of features you might want - just delete it, and allow it to repopulate when you start the pack if you want those features.
