With Minecolonies as a focus you can build up your town going into the various dungeons for extra loot. With the tools and armor from Silent gear you will be strong enough to face any of the extra creatures. And with the furniture mods you can craft the perfect manor to rule where you settle down.
With a low mod count it should work on most computers. Multiple performance increasing mods Will help it run just as smooth as vanilla Minecraft.
There are a few multiplayer performace mods but its not directly supported.
