This is a simple Vanilla Plus modpack for my friends. Most mods are QOL, performance, and light Mojang-coded content and cosmetic additions. I did my best to avoid any tech, magic, or otherwise new and intimidating systems and focus on creating a fresh Realms-adjacent experience. The vanilla gameplay loop is intact and Netherite reigns supreme, with some room for modded flexibility. While mods like the Aether and Dark Waters seemingly betray this ethos, I think spikes of mythic adventure and nostalgic gameplay create an "elevated Minecraft" experience without becoming an entirely different game. Mods like Ambient Sounds, Distant Horizons, Fabric Seasons, Mob Variants, and Immersive Weathering combine to create a nostalgic yet fresh, vibrant, and living world that should appeal to old and new players without betraying vanilla Minecraft.
