🎨 Main Menu — Still Being Rebuilt, Apparently

The menu has been updated again. This should not be surprising at this point. If you are surprised, you have not been paying attention. It looks better. It will be updated again at some point. That is simply the nature of things.

👥 Multiplayer — Essential In, e4mc Out

e4mc has been removed. Essential is in. Yes, Essential has a reputation. The tradeoff was made deliberately. You can now invite friends directly from the pause menu using the RIGHT 0 key. If you are on a 60% keyboard and that key does not exist in your reality, go to settings and bind it to something that does. This is not a bug. This is a you problem. A solvable you problem.

🌍 Biomes — Cleaned Up

A number of biomes have been removed on the grounds that they were not realistic. Silent Cities is not a game about realism, strictly speaking. But there is a line. Some biomes had crossed it. They are gone now. The world feels more coherent. You probably will not notice. That is fine. It is better.

🌲 Trees — Fixed. Finally. 

You could previously fell a really big tree by breaking a single log. That has been fixed. Trees now require the full, lumberjack-approved process of still one log but at a precise position to come down. Whether this was always unintended or just a long-standing oversight is a question that does not need to be answered publicly. It is fixed. Move on.

⚙️ Spawn System — Issue Fixed

An issue in the spawn system has been addressed. Details are sparse because the details are not interesting. Something was wrong. It is less wrong now. The third pass continues. It will not be rushed. You know this already.

🧱 Block TPS — Attempted Fix

An attempt has been made to address the block TPS issue. Whether it worked is, at time of writing, a philosophical question. The attempt was genuine. The outcome is being monitored. Reports are welcome. Hostility about it is not.

📦 Mods — Updated

Mods have been updated. This is on the changelog because it is supposed to be. Nothing broke in the process. That is worth noting.

📋 Roadmap

The roadmap has shifted slightly. Vehicle spawning has been officially acknowledged as out of scope for now. Everything else remains. Progress is being made on multiple fronts simultaneously, because apparently that is just how this development cycle works.

Quest System — Officially being looked into. Not a maybe anymore. A when. The when is not known. But the intent is real this time.

Loot System Revision — Coming alongside quests. It will be a struggle. This has already been acknowledged internally. The struggle will happen anyway.

TACZ Gunpack Revision — The current gun system is not satisfying. This is known. The audit is coming. No specifics until it is done.

Main Menu Soundtrack — More tracks may be added. Community suggestions are open. If you think a song fits the atmosphere, drop a comment. It will be considered. No promises. But it will be considered.

Vehicle Spawning — Out of scope. Officially. For now. This is not forever. This is just not now.
