🧬 Spore Mod — Fungal Infection Integrated
Select creatures from Spore are now part of the world. Over half the roster remains disabled. What remains is deliberate. Calamity-tier mutations are rare events, not background noise. The rest have been tuned to feel like encounters, not spawns. This is the first pass. It will 100% be revisited.
🌒 Spawning System — Overhauled
The spawn system has been rebuilt around Ecliptic Seasons and all 24 solar terms. What finds you at night now depends on the time of year. Drowned surge in wet spring. Husks thin out in winter. The Kraken does not walk in summer. Rain brings more. Thunder brings worse. The city reacts to the calendar. This system will be revisited and expanded in a future update.
📦 Loot Tables — Zombie, Husk, Drowned
Basic loot has been added to all three undead variants via KubeJS and LootJS. Copper, bone, gunpowder and rot are the common currency of the dead. Iron and rarer drops sit behind a secondary pool that mostly gives nothing. Diamond and enchanted golden apple are in there. You will probably never see them. These tables are a foundation. Spore drops, weapons, ammo and items from Legendary Survival Overhaul will be layered on top in a future pass.
⚙️ Mod Updates — General Pass
Various mods have been updated. Several issues that were present in 2.2.5 have been resolved. The pack is more stable than it was. What remains broken is known and noted.
📋 Roadmap
The pipeline is the same. Progress is real.
Spawning System — Second Pass — The solar term system is in. Biome-specific rules, deeper seasonal curves and Spore mob conditions will be refined further. It is not finished. It will not be rushed.
Loot Table Expansion — Spore mob drops, weapon and ammo loot, and Legendary Survival Overhaul items are all planned for the next loot pass. The foundation is there. The rest follows.
Vehicle Spawning — Still being explored. Superb Warfare vehicles found in the world rather than crafted. No timeline.
TACZ Gunpack Revision — The audit is coming. No specifics until it is done.
Quest System — Still planned. Still not forgotten. Still not now.
✦ A Personal Note
This update almost did not happen. Not for technical reasons. The modding community can be an ugly place sometimes, and this project came closer to ending than most people will know. Things have since settled. Some bridges have been walked back across. It is not forgotten, but it is no longer the loudest thing in the room.
Silent Cities will continue. But development may slow down. That is the honest answer. This is still a one-person project built on personal time, and that time is not unlimited. Updates will come when they come. The pack is not abandoned. It is just being made by a human being.
