A difficult hardcore survival modpack based on the Primal Winter and Cold Sweat mods.
Includes:
- Endless winter and snowstorms: Turns the entire world into a freezing, snow-covered wasteland with zero visibility during blizzards. This completely changes your world exploration, forcing you to build actual shelters to survive night storms and map out your routes carefully so you don't get lost in the whiteout.
- Better snow: Slightly improves snow. The snow physically slows you down, making running across the surface dangerous without clear paths or proper gear.
- Player temperature: Introduces a dynamic core temperature system that reacts to the environment, time of day, and your armor. If you freeze, you will get frostbite, lose movement speed, and slowly die, forcing you to craft insulated clothes and camp by fires.
- Food spoiling and temperature: Food now rots over time, and its lifespan is affected by how close it is to heat sources. You can no longer just hoard chests of food; you must manage your rations and store them properly so they don't spoil.
- Hunger depleting over time (even if idle): Your hunger bar constantly drops even if you are standing completely still doing nothing. This eliminates safe "AFK" moments and creates constant gameplay pressure to keep moving, hunt, and secure a stable food supply.
- Voice chat and sound physics: Adds fully immersive directional voice chat and realistic 3D audio echoes. You can communicate with friends naturally based on distance, and hearing the wind howl outside or your footsteps echoing in deep caves heavily boosts the eerie, isolated atmosphere.
- More building blocks: Gives you hundreds of new blocks to construct your base. This lets you design highly detailed, cozy winter cabins and fortified bunkers to protect yourself from the harsh climate outside.
- Changed world generation: Terrain is now really different from vanilla generation.
- Web displays: Allows you to create fully functional, interactive internet browsers on screens inside the game. You can use this to watch guides with friends, play music in your base, or track real-world info while waiting out a massive blizzard inside your cabin.
