This is a tech based modpack, with the central theme being around the Galacticraft mods, as well as many other tech mods, and a few magic and utility mods included.
I originally made it for me and a few of my friends, but decided to publish it, as maybe other will also find it interesting.
The main focus of the modpack is Galacticraft, and its addons. It is a mod that allows players to build rocket ships, fly to various moons and planets, and also make space stations. It comes with its own tech, like the oxygen compressor, which is the main machine you need if you want to breathe in space, and many other machines as well as adding a ton of planets and moons to explore, with unique content for every planet.
Most of the other mods, the tech based ones, are there as a way to help you get to space, so we have energy generating mods, like Nuclearcraft or the Thermal Series mods, there are some for ore processing, which is important as your rockets need a lot of resources, for example Mekanism and Buildcraft, two amazing tech mods, very useful for automation as well.
I have also included a couple of storage based mods, like Storage Drawers, which add modular drawers for an expanded but simple storage system, Iron Chests and Iron Backpacks, for a tier system for chests and backpacks, and also two digital storage mods, ComputerCraft and Applied Energistics 2.
There are a few mods that are there simply as Quality of Life, and Utility, such as the Fast Leaf Decay. There is of course a plethora of building related mods, such as Chisel and Bibliocraft.
There are mods that are geared towards exploration, such as the Oh The Biomes You'll Go, which adds many new biomes to the Minecraft overworld, and also a couple new dimensions, like The Betweenlands.
There are also magic mods inside this modpack, like Astral Sorcery which explores the magic of the sky and stars, and also Thaumcraft, which is a complex magic mod, that adds many cool things. There are also smaller magic mods, such as the Apotheosis mod.
There are many other mods in here as well, with lots of things for you to explore and try out, be it magic, tech or just plain old exploring, with many dimensions for the player to spice up their playthrough with. There are currently 147 mods in the modpack, so it should be accessible to everyone, as I tried to make it as stable of an experience as i could, with many optimization mods included to make the game run smoother.
The modpack was made to be enjoyed with friends, either as a collective team of players trying to explore space, or as a multi-team Space Race. May the best team win!
Quests have not yet been implemented in this version, but I hope to one day put out an update that will have some form of a quest-line made to give a little bit of direction for players who are newer to modded Minecraft. Untill then, go and explore everything this modpack has to offer, and find out what the many mods have to give.
