THIS PACK IS UNDER HEAVY CONSTRUCTION. excuse the lack of pretty formatting and main menu, I will work on aesthetic customization when the mod pack is in a better state. as of the first update, there is currently no configurations or quests. This is a VERY early version as I have bigger plans for this mod pack, such as a Stardew Valley pre-made map and using NPC's to recreate the characters. But since this is my first time making a pack, there's still other configurations I want to get into place before even touching things like that. That in mind, please keep in mind mods can come and go and to always back up your worlds before loading new versions. If you have recommendations, want to help with coding, catch a bug, please post it in the comments and proper credit will be given. Want to help in the development? Message me!
SD Valley is a mod pack meant to recreate the gameplay and atmosphere in Stardew Valley in Minecraft, but in a more interactive, immersive sense that the pixels of SV can't provide. For those of you who want to go face to face with your farm animals, jump over blocks, explore an open world, or even use shaders and resource packs for that beauty factor. I'm aware there is a mod pack that aimed to do a similar experience but it is no longer being updated due to the mod that is revolves around being abandoned, leaving it in version 1.10.2. Unfortunately, that means we'll have to do without the character interactions. I hope that other mods will make up for for that for the time being!
- SEASONS + FARMING: Enjoy the changing seasons in any biome with Serene Seasons. Craft a season clock to plan your farm accordingly or use greenhouse glass to grow your seeds year around. With Pam's Harvest, there's a wide variety of fruits and vegetables but always keep in mind that they're seasonal. Want to keep those pesky mobs, monsters and/or animals, off your farm land? Craft a scarecrow to get them to back off.
- FARM ANIMALS: Animania has replaced vanilla mobs for more variety of your usual cows, chickens, and pigs with unique features, one of those being a pig's ability to find truffle! To make this a more comfy experience however, I have disabled animals dying from starvation, but don't forget to spend some quality time with your animals!
- MOBS: Familiar Faunua helps add some wild animals for atmosphere, even pixies for that subtle magic touch without making this pack all about magic. And we can't forget all of Stardew's slimes; with Better Slime, you can expect to find 10+ different slimes around your world. With Mob Control Wands, you can tame any animal and find yourself a pet. While these are not visual mobs, Aquaculture adds 30+ types of fishes along with a variety of new rods and tools. Give it a try, you might just fish up some treasure!
- WORLD: Forestry is included, to allow some variety in trees and make up for not having BOP. Chisel and its companion, Chisel and Bits, are added to help with amazing, unique builds. Inspirations, along with a few other mods, are there to help with decorating your builds and land.
- QUESTS: This is where all the action happens - what's Stardew without its shops, monster counter, and community center? Your quest book has all you'll need for now. Armoring up and fighting monsters will be rewarding with Ordinary Coins dropping from mobs and unique rewards when you reach a goal. With Ordinary Coins, you can shop for seeds, ores, and mob eggs. Completing achievements and bundles will also give you rewards for your time.
Skills, hundreds of flowers, a wolf leveling system, baubles - there's much more to experience! Not enough? Try giving SD Valley a try and let me know what else I can do to make it better!
