☣️ THE WORLD HAS FALLEN

Something was discovered beneath the polar ice caps.

At first, it was classified as an unknown biological anomaly.

A new SCP.

An organism unlike anything previously catalogued by the Foundation.

It was designated SCP-9999.

The initial reports described the entity as unusual, but seemingly manageable. The Foundation believed the discovery could be contained, studied, and eventually understood.

They were wrong.

SCP-9999 escaped containment.

And then it began to spread.

Within weeks, the infection had reached populated areas. Within months, entire regions were reporting outbreaks.

The dead began walking.

But these were not ordinary zombies.

They did not burn under sunlight.

They became more aggressive.

They became vectors.

And every attack brought humanity one step closer to extinction.

The Foundation attempted to contain the outbreak.

It failed.

Containment sites went silent.

Research facilities were abandoned.

Emergency communications stopped.

SCPs escaped.

Cities collapsed.

And whatever remained of civilization was left surrounded by anomalies, infected creatures, hostile survivors, and things that were never supposed to see the outside world.

🧟 THE UNDEAD BREACH

The outbreak has changed the rules of survival.

The infected are everywhere.

They wander through forests, abandoned cities, underground facilities, highways, ruined structures, and places that were once considered safe.

And unlike ordinary Minecraft zombies, these undead have been altered by SCP-9999.

They no longer fear the Sun.

Daytime is no longer safe.

You can no longer simply wait until morning.

The infected can hunt you at any hour.

And every encounter carries a risk.

☣️ THE SIX-ATTACK RULE

SCP-9999 does not necessarily infect its victims immediately.

However, repeated exposure dramatically increases the danger.

Survive six zombie attacks, and you may become infected.

Once the infection takes hold, the effects begin.

SCP-9999 INFECTION SYMPTOMS

Slowness
Weakness
Hunger
Reduced ability to survive prolonged encounters
Constant pressure to find food and shelter

The infection turns even basic survival into a problem.

Running becomes harder.

Fighting becomes harder.

Finding food becomes essential.

And every zombie you encounter becomes a potential death sentence.

But there may be a cure.

🧪 THE ANTIDOTE

Rumors have begun circulating among surviving researchers.

Three SCPs may possess biological properties capable of counteracting the effects of SCP-9999.

Unfortunately, these three anomalies are among the most dangerous entities still roaming the world.

SCP-096 — THE SHY GUY

A creature that should never be looked at.

Obtaining a biological sample from SCP-096 is an almost suicidal task.

One mistake can be enough.

One glimpse can be enough.

And if it notices you...

Run.

SCP-049 — THE PLAGUE DOCTOR

A mysterious entity obsessed with the concept of disease.

SCP-049 has demonstrated an unusual understanding of biological contamination and frequently claims to be capable of curing what it considers a "pestilence."

Whether its definition of a disease matches SCP-9999 is unknown.

But its biological material may be useful.

If you can obtain it.

SCP-682 — THE HARD-TO-DESTROY REPTILE

Perhaps the worst candidate of them all.

SCP-682 is extraordinarily hostile, incredibly resilient, and notoriously difficult to destroy.

Yet its biology may contain the final component required to create the antidote.

Obtaining a sample from SCP-682 is not a simple expedition.

It is an encounter with something that was built to survive.

🧬 CREATING THE ANTIDOTE

If you somehow manage to obtain a sample from all three SCPs, there is one final step.

🏙️ A WORLD BUILT FOR THE OUTBREAK

The apocalypse has transformed the environment.

Abandoned cities and structures provide both opportunities and dangers.

The Lost Cities environment allows you to explore ruined urban areas that have become breeding grounds for the infected and other anomalies.

Old buildings may contain food, equipment, weapons, medical supplies, or valuable resources.

They may also contain something much worse.

Explore carefully.

Search every room.

Listen for sounds.

Watch your surroundings.

And don't assume an empty building is actually empty.

🧟 THE DEAD ARE NOT YOUR ONLY PROBLEM

The SCPs aren't the only things that have changed.

The world itself has become hostile.

Zombie awareness, enhanced enemies, dangerous creatures, SCP entities, environmental threats, and the general collapse of civilization make every expedition dangerous.

You might leave your shelter looking for food.

You might return with a weapon.

You might return infected.

You might return with something following you.

Or...

you might not return at all.
