you were tasked to the eastern coast of the united states as apart of the SCP Foundation after the Asteroid YR4 landed in the Atlantic ocean Savanah Georgia and many other coastal cities were flooded along with a mystery fog consumed the east coast as reports of anomalies and other creatures in the fact the SCP Foundation was deployed to set up a containment zone along the fog area to not draw attention to the existence of the SCP foundation all foundation personnel we disguised as Medical workers, US Military, United Nations and etc.
research teams adventured out into the zone reporting back many anomalies and the undead. many research teams would be killed during this time but, their research was a major help in uncovering what this anomaly is.
the anomaly seems to make near perfect recreation of horror figures in media while also taking inspiration from phobias. it started with the undead and soon transformed into cryptids and soon recreating SCPs from the researchers and MTF members memories. the anomaly doesn't make perfect recreations but near complete copies... god only hopes that it doesn't recreate the scarlet king...
during your time researching this anomaly the worse happens the fog begins spreading rapidly. humanity was nearly wiped out in 27 hours so who survived went underground or just chose to live with this new world... you? you wake up after being in a coma from unknown means waking up in a bunker that seems to have aged 5 years... that doesn't seem right?
