SCP Refounded (SCP-R) is a Minecraft based SCPRP community that emphasizes dynamic changes, user interaction, and in-character choices. The Discord offers text-based roleplay which can be translated into the game, offering an outlet to reflect decisions and choices made by said YOU. SCP-R offers two factions to play as, Foundation and Civilian. Here at SCP Refounded, we value dynamic changes and an ever evolving canon. Starting out as a newly established outpost commissioned by the SCP Foundation, you will get to see it grow and flourish into a fully functional site as time progresses. Watch the decisions you make have a lasting impact on the world around you! Our decision to incorporate these values into a modded Minecraft server allows you to truly let your imagination run wild. Want to join the Foundation, climb the ranks, and possibly create your own outpost under the Foundations oversight? Go for it! Or maybe join the Civilian faction and band together to create a weird blood cult to rival the Foundation. The choice is yours!
Dynamic Lore
SCP-R's storyline is not predefined or determined. Character choices, outcomes, and events will influence the lore and direction of the facility as a whole. If an existential threat poses a risk to the Foundation, it's up to you to put a stop to it!
Unrestricted Roleplay
We believe that in-character decisions require in-character consequences. If you, as a civilian for example, decided to murder one of your peers in cold blood, you may find yourself in a strange prison with some strange anomalies. We believe punishment should be restricted to your character, not you. That said there are still fundamental rules you must abide by as to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for new users. Server and Discord rules still apply. You may be removed by moderation for breaking rules that make the experience unplayable for others.
Application Based Acceptance
While some may see this as a hinderance, this is to protect the interests of our community. We are a serious roleplay, therefore we hold our playerbase to higher standard than what would typically be expected. Unless explicitly labelled as OOC (Out-of-Character), you are expected to remain in-character while communicating in channels.
