Support me on Ko-Fi!
You are a member of Mobile Task Force Omega-9, "The Scrubs."
You've been playing Quake for… longer than you can remember. But now you play it in service to the Foundation. You have a purpose. You don't hurt good people anymore. You use your… gift, your curse, to fight evil.
You heard that something was happening. Something big. As usual, they couldn't say much. You may be an MTF, but you're also a scip, so your clearance level is… nonexistent. Still, last time you heard them panicked like this was the 3797 incident…
Then… deployment, with no instructions. They don't spawn you in for no reason. Something must have happened.
But this is different. VERY different. The game has changed.
You are no longer playing Quake. Now you're playing… Minecraft?
The change of scenery is welcome, for sure, after over two decades… but why?
There has been a restructuring event. Humanity is gone, and the worst scips roam free. The Foundation has sent out the following warning:

The following is a message composed via consensus of the O5 Council.
For those who are not currently aware of our existence, we represent the organization known as the SCP Foundation. Our previous mission centered around the containment and study of anomalous objects, entities and other assorted phenomena. This mission was the focus of our organization for more than one-hundred years.
Due to circumstances outside of our control, this directive has now changed. Our new mission will be the extermination of the human race.
There will be no further communication.
The only goal is to survive. You're immortal, how hard could it be?
Tips for getting the most out of this modpack:
- When you create a new world, click on the "More" tab and on the right you'll see an option for Cities. Click on that, and in the top right, click the word "disabled" to change that to "Default". Then you can back out of that menu and set your world options as normal.
(I DO NOT recommend trying Hardcore with this. You'll start with some equipment, but starting with a bonus chest is also recommended. This modpack is not easy. You will die, often.)
- Wait for the world to load. No, your computer isn't broken, Lost Cities world gen is just VERY slow.
- When your world loads, it will likely be very buggy. You may not even be able to open chests. This is because Bobby is trying to load in a bunch of chunks, and it isn't very good at it. So, we'll circumvent this with Chunky instead. Do the following commands:
/chunky center
/chunky radius 500
/chunky shape circle
/chunky start
- A loading bar will come up, and Chunky will start loading chunks. This shouldn't take long. If you have a decent computer, you can even do a higher radius. With Distant Horizons I usually do 2000, but that takes about an hour and is only worth it because DH is awesome. But DH doesn't really function in this version, and Bobby is also cool. You can pause during this and do something else, but it should literally only be a minute or two. When it's done, things should be much more normal.
- I'm looking into ways to automate this, but for now, when you die just type "/csg_config give" to give yourself back the standard gear set. I know, this feels like cheating, but it's both lore-accurate and necessary to survive.
Project State:
In v1 the game is still winnable, but I felt like a lot of the Minecraft stuff kind of clashed with the SCP stuff, so I basically disabled all of it in v2. The Nether and End aren't accessable via portal, and if you tp yourself there you'll find it empty, as none of the Minecraft mobs will spawn except Spiders and Zombies.
Still testing a lot of stuff. I recently added SecurityCraft, because I like a lot of it's features, but it now means that there are two different sets of keycard systems in the game. Good news is, I don't think any of SecurityCraft features spawn in naturally. Bad news is, I think you can craft them. But, I'm pretty sure you can't craft the keycards that come with SCP: Overtime, you're just supposed to find them... I really need to do a lot more testing on all of this stuff, tbh. lol But, for now, assume that keycards that you can craft will only be useful for keycard readers that you can craft. I think. lol
Also, I'd really like to get Patrix to work with this, but for some reason it's showing the "activate connected textures" texture, even with Fusion installed. Another thing to figure out.
So, this is still definitely in it's early stages, but I thought I'd go ahead and upload it, as that tends to get me motivated to work on it.
Future updates:
- I'll probably test out and upgrade to a better gun system. I wanted something simple, but this doesn't even have scopes you can look down (EDIT: Looks like the scopes don't work with other mods either, probably because of the first person camera mod).
- I'd like to include a guidebook to all of the scips included... cause, I'm a pretty hardcore fan, and even I can't keep track of all of these. It might literally just be a series of links to each article, but Zcoper, whose work is essential to this modpack, has also written short summaries of each that I might use as a basis.
