Main hotfix thing:
- Temporarily disabled "colorful_flares" from "/summon"ing on mob deaths, because they cause a crash specifically when /summoned
Other things:
Finally got around to adding a chat tip about the various warring factions in the cities and elsewhere
Attempted to fix the Tactics Tracker HUD not tracking each player individually
Updated tutorial "SCE" Quest to actually reflect the new photography Task for "Study"ing mobs
Added 40mm Grenades to the ammo conversion code
Fixed an ammo duplication bug, elmayo
Added an "Ammo Conversion" tutorial, so we know how to.. do ammo conversion, lul. (Convert one ammo type to another ammo type for a different gun—even across the other main gun mod)
Created a bit of a clearer "call to action" on the main gameplay loop, so players know what to do/are guided better (if they actually want to do the main Quests)
Unsure if this was in the last build, but:
- We finally spawn with a Backpack in our Curios back slot (press "B" to open your backpack; "~" to access the Curios menu); not taking up our chestplate slot or an inventory slot.
- We also spawn with a Tool Belt in our Curios belt slot now (Hold "R" to open your tool belt; "~" to access the Curios menu)
- We now just spawn with a Structure compass, too; no more wasting time crafting these things, which was getting in the way of basic gameplay loops like exploring
- We're given a building tool (makes building faster/easier) with some charge in the second Quest after the tutorial. There's an optional Quest off to the side with more details on how to use it, IF players are interested.
- I got rid of a few of the Instant Pop-up Structure Rewards on the second Quest, in favor of letting players flex their own creativity if they wanted to; don't worry, there are still CHOICE-rewards within the first ~4 Quests or so that gives you the OPTION to choose some pop-up structures (among other options) if you still want to play that way, it's just not forced into your face/inventory quite so hard anymore
- We finally spawn with a Backpack in our Curios back slot (press "B" to open your backpack; "~" to access the Curios menu); not taking up our chestplate slot or an inventory slot.
FINALLY appended player Owner IDs to the turrets we summon, MEANING: No more turrets shooting us or failing to protect us. We also can't damage our own turrets.
- It appears as though they cannot damage EACH OTHER, either now, which is huge.
Stoves will now heat us up a bit (just makes sense), as well as furnaces, smokers, and (much more) blast furnaces
We can now work towards completely stopping hordes from spawning
- Think 20 milestones is enough?
