In this pack you'll find through the use of several mods that gaining resourses is easier. Resource chickens, Resource Bushes and Ore Berries are all there to make getting resorces easier.
Tinkers will allow more customiable tools for the player to weild.
When it comes to mounts you can choose between your wolf from Doggy Talents (one of the skills is to be able to mount it), horses (with ability to see their stats and breed them without that old bug), Llamas you can ride into the sunset with a caravan behind you with the Llama saddle mod and with ChoocoCraft you can ride a large bird that if you mutate far enough you'll be able to fly the skies with (with a fire proof nether varaint)
If you ever dreamed about building a self sustaining empire you can do so with Minecolonies
Note about chicken/duck eggs: must kill the mob to gain egg
