Distant Horizons - Raises the render distance as high as your computer can handle, 1000+ chunks

Journeymap - A classic map mod, the best map mod

JEI/JEP/JER - A series of mods that add more informative interfaces like crafting recipies, villager trades & mob drops

Moog's - Structure mod that adds flying islands and ocean villages

Oh The Biomes We've Gone - Adds new biomes, trees & plants

Small Ships - A very simple and small ship mod that adds some new boats

Sodium - A performance mod that HIGHLY raises that performance of all the mods and reduces lag

Sophisticated Backpacks - Basicly adds early game shulker boxes, can be upgraded for late game purposes later

These mods work splendidly together and adds new content to minecraft for the 1.21 update without changing the game completly.
