Lore

In the spring of 2026, Deepwood Cybernetics initiated an unsanctioned experiment inside a subterranean laboratory known only as Facility 114. The goal was to fuse biological neural networks with self-evolving digital algorithms. To stabilize the core, researchers funneled the data through exactly 114 highly complex code modules. However, during the final execution, a highly aggressive, corrupted software anomaly hijacked the system. It overrode the security protocols and locked down the bunker. The physical manifestations of the code proved unstoppable: the anomalies ruthlessly slaughtered every single member of the research staff and the heavily armed security teams. There was no resistance, only absolute annihilation. After cleansing the facility of human life, the entities breached the blast doors and escaped into the surrounding wilderness, permanently blurring the line between code, flesh, and nature. You are an outside specialist sent to investigate the sudden radio silence, completely unaware that the nightmare has overtaken the wild.
The containment failure transformed the natural world into a living, distorted hell. The corrupted code manifested first as a digital infection, twisting local wildlife and leftover mechanical constructs into aggressive, metal-wrought monstrosities that patrol the dark forests with relentless, simulated rage. Deep within the overgrown woods, a strange, ancient relic has manifested, radiating a digital field that accelerates the decay of the ecosystem and erodes the psychological stability of anyone near it. Accompanying this mental decay is a haunting, invisible presence that feeds exclusively on panic, filling the silent, dark corners of the wilderness with agonizing, disembodied weeping whenever fear takes hold.
Worse still are the entities hunting you from the shadows of the trees. A towering, faceless stalker follows your every move from the edge of your vision, tampering with your equipment, short-circuiting your flashlight, and leaving terrifying signs just to break your spirit. Behind the very walls of the abandoned outposts you use for shelter, a terrifying abomination born from the void of the corrupted server taps rhythmically against the wooden planks, waiting for a single moment of lapse in your defense to breach. Yet, the greatest threat is completely silent; a flawless, unseen predator that bends the light around it, leaving no footprints and making no sound, recognizable only by the sudden, violent glitching of your vital monitors and a sudden drop in temperature. To survive the wild, you must navigate the terrifying anomalies created by the remaining modules, piece together the corrupted system archives left by the dead staff, and purge the central signal before your own mind is completely erased by the system.

Entities

The Sentient Network Overlords

  • FNaF Virus
The digital core of the facility’s downfall. It acts as a massive corruptive threat. It sends out towering, distorted animatronic shapes—including an 8-block-tall bear figure—that watch from a distance before tearing through your game with flashing lights, loud audio feedback, and even physical system instability. If you hear its disembodied laughing, your only defense is to immediately break line of sight and hide.
  • Fazbear's Wrath
The physical payload deployed by the infection. It populates the wilderness with aggressive, fully-realized metallic constructs that patrol the trees with advanced tracking AI. They aggressively pursue any moving target, using relentless simulated rage to execute the corrupted core's cleansing protocols.

The Omnipresent Horrors

  • The Idol
An adaptive, multi-stage server-side threat inspired by psychological investigative horror. It dynamically monitors your movement over an extended playthrough, slowly shifting through distinct behavioral stages to close its distance. To track and counter its movements before it triggers sudden, reality-shattering client-side anomalies, you must rely on specialized equipment like EMF readers, spirit boxes, and a polaroid flash to stun it.
  • The Knocker (Voidborn)
A structural predator heavily altered by a dark, otherworldly distortion. It targets the perimeters of human shelters, emitting rhythmic, psychological tapping against structural walls. Reborn with a pitch-black, void-infused texture and deep, harrowing sound alterations, it waits just outside your defensive barriers, ready to instantly end your run if you open the door at the wrong time.
  • Unseen Entity
The perfect, stealth-oriented code stalker. It features completely absent texture models and absolute auditory silence, bypassing standard physical tracking completely. You can only pinpoint its direct proximity through environmental anomalies, unnatural ambient drops in local temperature, and violent, erratic distortion occurring across your HUD vital monitors.

The Stalker

  • The Stalker
A conglomerate classification of adaptive, humanoid hunting programs built entirely on psychological torment rather than traditional combat. This entity stalks you silently through the dense forest trees, entirely freezing or retreating when under direct line of sight. It completely breaks down your defense systems over time by dynamically short-circuiting flashlights, manipulating local power setups, opening shelter doors, and projecting agonizing, disembodied weeping into the dark corners of the wild whenever your sanity begins to spiral.
