RPG Horizons
RPG Horizons is a multiplayer-focused RPG modpack built around Progressive RPG and the incredible ecosystem created by Daedelus Dev and the RPG Series.
What started as a small pack to play with friends slowly evolved into a much larger project. The goal of RPG Horizons is to transform Minecraft into a complete progression-based RPG experience while maintaining compatibility with many amazing mods.
This pack is primarily designed for multiplayer servers, although it can also be played in singleplayer.
Server Setup / World Configuration
RPG Horizons includes several server-side systems that should be configured before opening a multiplayer world.
Admins can configure most world-related systems using:
/rpgworldconfig
This command can be used to configure:
- Lobby and spawn protection areas.
- RPG spawn point.
- Additional safe zones.
- Auction House areas.
- Protected admin zones.
- Event locations.
- Cities and public hubs.
Useful Commands
/rpgworldconfig list
/rpgworldconfig reload
/rpgworldconfig save
Configure the lobby:
/rpgworldconfig lobby set center
/rpgworldconfig lobby set radius <value>
Configure the RPG spawn:
/rpgworldconfig spawn set here
Create additional safe zones:
/rpgworldconfig safezone add <id>
/rpgworldconfig safezone set <id> center
/rpgworldconfig safezone set <id> radius <value>
/rpgworldconfig safezone list
JSON Configuration
All world settings can also be edited manually through:
config/progressiverpg/world_settings.json
After editing the file manually, reload it with:
/rpgworldconfig reload
To save changes made in-game back into the JSON file:
/rpgworldconfig save
This makes it easy to copy configurations between servers or create backups.
Auction House
The Auction House and several other Progressive RPG systems are designed to be used inside configured lobby areas.
If some systems do not behave as expected, make sure your spawn, lobby and safe zones have been configured correctly.
Most server owners will want to create:
- A protected spawn area.
- A marketplace with villagers.
- An Auction House zone.
- Public service areas.
- Event areas.
Keybinds
After installing the modpack, players should review their keybinds.
Several systems use custom keys, including:
- Party menu.
- Party HUD toggle.
- Extended inventory pages.
- RPG interfaces.
- Other mod integrations.
Go to:
Options β Controls β Key Binds
and search for:
- Progressive RPG
- Party
- RPG
- Skill Tree
Changing keybinds is highly recommended, since some mods may use overlapping default keys.

An additional datapack was created specifically for RPG Horizons.

Some of the changes included are:
- Enchantment fixes and adjustments.
- Progression improvements.
- Balance tweaks.
- Compatibility changes.
- Additional gameplay improvements.
The datapack has already been submitted to CurseForge.
Once approved, the download link will be added here.
Using the datapack is highly recommended, as some mechanics and balance changes were designed with it in mind.

Disclaimer
RPG Horizons was originally created to play with friends and continues to evolve over time.
Many systems are still being expanded and improved, and feedback is always welcome.
This project would not have been possible without the incredible work of Daedelus Dev, Fichteee, and all the authors whose mods make this experience possible.
Thank you for trying the pack, and have fun!
