WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This modpack throws most of what you know about minecraft out the window at the very start of a new world.
You have 1 day to build a house and defend it, 2 if your lucky.
This modpack adds a lot of different mobs, items, weapons, blocks and utilities to help you fight the endless horde that will soon be on top of you. The main focus of this new modpack is to force the player into finding a good spot, and defending it, putting a greater emphasis on base building. There is a number of mods that are here to help the player survive for as long as possible, but there are also mods that make it harder to survive.
MOBS
There are a lot of mobs that are here to ruin your minecraft world in every way imaginable. There are two main mods that add in a lot of mobs, The two mods being Lycanites Mobs and Scape Run and Parasites. It is good to note that it doesn't matter what the mob is, SRP will infect anything and everything, spreading by whatever means necessary. There are other mods that add new mobs but you will have to play in order to see what else are hiding in the darkness.
FOOD
All vanilla minecraft food now restore less hunger and saturation, meaning now that you have to use Pams Harvest Craft to make new food for yourself. Automation is possible so you dont have to focus on what your going to eat every night, but you now have a wider selection of basic food that give you next to no saturation, and amazing food that will fill you up with just on bite, letting you ignore it for awhile.
ENERGY
Power is a crucial part to your survival. You will have to learn the ways of a few mods in order to keep the lights on, best thing to know is that most of the power related mods, are compatible with each other, so you don't have to worry about multiple different power sources and which goes to what. The main two power mods that you should focus on, are Immersive Engineering, and, Mekanism. There are others, but these will get you a long way. Just don't let the power go out.
WEAPONS
There are a ton of new weapons for you to use to defend yourself, along with new armor to keep you alive for just a little longer. Tinkers Construct allows player to craft and improve on any custom made weapons and armor, along side with Spartan Weaponry that will give you more heavy weaponry for the short time. There are other means of defense, Modular Turrets allow you to set up automatic weapons to close off areas or keep your base safe without you having to worry about them, Just remember to keep them filled with ammo and power.
Summery
There is a lot of things to learn and fight against here, and is possibly best played with more people. You don't need to worry about going out and finding danger, believe me, they will find you. Your main goal in this modpack is to survive as long as possible against ever increasing hordes of monsters and parasites as they try and break down your walls. Will you let the rot consume you?
