Rotten Souls is an RPG pack based on the game Elden Ring, beeing hardly rooted on medieval fantasy themes without taking away the free sandbox experience of vanilla minecraft. It focuses on combat and exploration, adding an immense variety of weapons, armours and other fun ways to get strong, encouraging the players to build their own style to explore new dungeons and fight lots of new bosses.

A Different Experience

In order to mantain the thematics of the modpack and encourage players to try new things, providing the unique expecience I wanted with the project, I have decided to remove items that went against the themes or that I found ugly/boring, and that includes some armours like most vanilla ones. But, as I think everyone should play the way they want, you can revert these changes by deleting the armour.json files inside client_scripts and server_scripts folders at .minecraft>kubejs and the deleteitem-common.toml file at .minecraft>config folder.

Known Issues

There is a rare bug that causes the game to crash while rendering a specific new chunk. This is caused by a conflict with the mowziesmobs-1.6.3 mod. If you experience this, remove the mod from your mods folder, load the chunk, and then put it back in, the game will no longer crash when rendering the chunk. If you dont care about the contents of Mowzies Mobs, remove the mod completely.

The mob The Hunter sometimes spawn during daytime even though it burns to sunlight for an unkown reason.
