     MaximumRose and WindRider always wanted a modpack that shuns the overpowered technology mods, as those encourage you to idle-grind for a few days in order to be able to get whatever you want as soon as you want it. It just becomes a boring chore. We've also always wanted to play a minecraft game that felt like you were in a medieval RPG world, almost like Dungeons and Dragons. A modpack has helps us recapture the feel of Minecraft when we first started playing; everything was an adventure, challenges were around every corner, and everything was new and exciting. Unfortunately, pretty much every modpack we came across accomplished half of those goals at most while remaining stable. We thought we'd never get to play what we were looking for. ...So we made it ourselves.

 

     This pack is geared toward exploration and adventure with heavy leanings toward classic Rogue and Dungeons & Dragons type play. Rather than lean on overpowered technology mods or mods that encourage you to idle-grind until you get everything super easy, this pack focuses on adventure, and gives the player many unique ways to prepare themselves for challenging dungeons, random encounters, and creatures both menacing and benign. It allows the player to start his or her own settlement or adopt a village outright. Additionally, you can hire and outfit mercenaries, marry, and have a family, or just adopt a baby from the church. Your settlements can provide food and supplies while you're away. Dungeons of varying types, sizes and intensity spawn across the land, and many of the most powerful items in the game are either found in dungeons or require components you can only find through exploration.

 

Don't sit in a cave for the entire game grinding out materials or idling while things grow / process. Get out there and experience the world!
